So SOMA,
It's a game by Frictional Interactive, the guys who made Amnesia.

This initially pushed me away, since Horror games simply aren't my jam. I don't like the idea of a game going out of it's way to scare me just for the sake of it, same reason I don't really enjoy horror movies.

SOMA however is different. Sure it's a horror game, but it's a horror game where the horror is in the idea of being stuck in the situation you are in, driven by the world building... And what a world it builds...

This game is for sure up there with my favourite stories in not just gaming, but media in general. It's a great world to sink time into understanding.

Highly recommend this game for anyone looking to sink a couple of hours of a Sunday or something into a game that really dives deep into themes of isolation, and consciousness.

Terrible game, the first thing I noticed is that the FOV is TERRIBLE! I don't really notice FOV in games, but here it was enough to make me feel sick, and there is NO WAY to change it... I mean, what? The second thing I noticed is that the main character is off center! This makes it really difficult to control. Now I have a decent PC, so I naturally set everything to full, surely this wouldn't be a problem? Nope, made everything pretty much unplayable. In all, the experiance was so awful I couln't make it through the first level.

If you liked any of the previous games in the series, then you are most likely going to hate this. And onto my IGN reveiw...

Was pretty great, physics were the best ever totally beats (by dr dre) Red Faction Guerilla by making the game like COD which we gave a full 10! What can we say? 99/10 -IGN
