MOP Operation Cleanup is an auto-runner type game where the character constantly moves forward and the controls are pretty much limited to jumping. I liked the idea of cleaning up planets and the artwork was the best part about this game. That is because the game design and level design are poorly implemented, which happen to be the most important aspects of a game like this. Much of the fun is ruined by the trial and error mechanics that has the level so zoomed in that it’s hard to see and react to any upcoming obstacles. Additionally, it’s near impossible to predicate how the character is going to navigate the level as some walls will cause him to change direction, while most walls will simply push him back a little. As a matter of fact, it becomes too time consuming and cumbersome to even attempt to collect all of the trash in a level because of the constant battle between the level design wanting the player to go through a certain section and the game mechanics forcing the player to move in the opposite direction.
Unfortunately, the game itself ended up being a mess that no robot could clean up. In fact, the levels were probably left with more trash from robot scraps of many failed attempts. It just wasn’t worth the effort to complete the side objectives or the levels.

This is the sort of thing I would put in one of my reviews lol. Anyway, great review as always. Thanks.
