The more I play the more the thin veneer of BF3 + BF4 nostalgia wears off, revealing a pretty soulless and uninspired fps perfect for the mediocrity that is AAA gaming in 2025.

This game is like if Stardew Valley 2 had you play as a JojaMart manager and then told you to like it (and buy some JojaMart socks while you're at it).

All through the pre-pre-alpha playtest the forums were filled with posts like mine begging EA to change course, but they added a micro-transaction store to the early access playtest alpha instead. I think that tells you all you need to know about skate.

Very good! Performance issues are over hyped, mine runs pretty good with a 3070. At least an 8/10 so far, will likely be a 9 or 10 with future updates.

Arrowhead made a great game, but Sony always has to ruin things. Every game DOES NOT need to have 5,000 accounts linked to play it. We know it worked without PSN before, why does Sony care now?

I hate you Sony.

Edit: Sony has reversed the decision. Democracy wins again! See you back on the battlefield Helldivers.

Probably a great game but an absolutely awful port. You’re lucky if you get to play the game even half as long as it took you to compile the shaders beforehand. Not to mention the games runs terribly even on recent and high-end hardware. Not even a 30 series gpu with an m.2 can save you from the last of us part 1’s lazy optimization.

Wait for a fix and save the headache. We’ve waited 9 years, what’s a few more months?
