Touching narrative, colorful characters, fun gameplay, gorgeous graphics
I love this game. Finished it two times (before updates and after updates) and I will probably come back to it in a while.
The histories of all the characters Stella takes on the boat are captivating but written lightheartedly and compassionately. Spiritfarer despite being about death manages to be cozy and fun to play. With every couple of hours, you get a new mechanic to discover and use, adding depth and a kinda metroidvania style. Base building and crafting are very enjoyable, however, sometimes farming resources feels boring and tiresome.
Don't recommend it as a co-op though - the second person's gameplay is very restricted and boring.
