Jeffrey Lynn "Jeff" Goldblum (/ˈɡoʊldblu:m/; born October 22, 1952) is an American actor who has received nominations for an Oscar, an Emmy, a Genie and a Drama Desk Award throughout his career and is best known for starring in the highest-grossing films of his era, Jurassic Park (1993) and Independence Day (1996), as well as their respective sequels, The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), Independence Day: Resurgence (2016), and Jurassic World 2 (2018).
