I really enjoyed this game for the first half, but having made it to act 3 I can safely say that if this feels like an early access and not a full release.There are a ton of systems in place that feel like they are fighting each other, not complimenting each other.

Why do I have a limit of 6 units when you seem to want to encourage the marriage / child system? And why do those units have stamina meters so you can't even take them into battle every time when there are so few to begin with? When everything is level 18-20; why would I want to sell one of my units to try to get a stronger one who starts at level 1? That's effectively useless to me. Especially given that gold is used to heal, rest, train, and get new units, I can't just level a new unit up without potentially screwing up the rest of my guys.

The dice combat is pretty interesting but it's not enough to save it from the glaring flaws.

The music:
My god. At first, you're like wow this is kind of a bop while in combat. But then you very quickly realize the music is on a 30 second or so loop, and it just does. not. stop. There's no variation to the beat or anything.

The level layouts and designs: There's only a few layouts between each "level", and all of them are pretty much the same.

The enemies: Generic and forgettable.
