we got sony to walk back on their horrendous decision, now we can focus on the devs and their work on a true gem of a game that comes once in a lifetime :)

This will be about the game, not the company outside of team 4. From the perspective of multiple thousands of hours, GM/t500 every role. My ranks in the end DO NOT matter for a review, gold, silver, etc etc are all valid, it's just for the sake of transparency.

-Constant lies (PvE especially, false promises, etc etc)
-Very poor balance (giga buffing random heroes every season for the sake of buffing them, new heroes are thanos or ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, keeping a straight unfun/broken hero unbalanced for *months* with no response.)
-Straight up scamming (lootbox removal, only to increase prices of skins 10 fold, most of them being real money only.)
-Roles are not balanced between eachother, in high ranks the power scaling is very, very different. If supports or tank play the wrong heroes it's straight up game over. Meaning 9/10 times your impact alone WILL NEVER matter.
-Pro scene is, and will die to the hands of the company itself. There's no excuse for this one, just move on.
-Tied to earlier point, but very infrequent balancing is worse than too much balance, just change ♥♥♥♥ man some of these heroes that have been broken for literal YEARS NOW haven't been touched.
-Not transparent with players/pros. Tell me the last time we got a simple, "hey so we see 'x' hero over performing we're looking into it" without it being a straight up lie. Never.
-Inconsistencies are far too obvious, and never ever acceptable in a live service game, this alone would get an extremely low rating from me.
-Being this out of touch with a live service game is ALSO, not acceptable at all. Either play your game or pay people PROPERLY to test it for you.

Out of the possibility of repeating myself further this concludes it for now. If you are an extremely casual player, go for it. If you care at all about the game, like AT ALL, don't touch this wasted potential of a game with a 10 meter pole. Sorry Overwatch, you used to be my favorite, it's been completely ruined for me, I've lost all drive, and all reason to play regularly. I know I'm not the only one.

One of the best stories I've ever had the pleasure of going through. I really do love how they get you attached to the world and main character and treat them as if they're real, it makes for quite a powerful story.
