This game took me by surprise in a very good way. I didn't expect to spend anywhere near as much time playing this as I had.
Unlike similar titles, such as Gnomoria or Towns, Odd Realm allows the player to pick a race (at the time of writing, 2/5 are completed) which have their own unique traits.

I'm looking forward to seeing more updates for this game in the future.

The current UI for upgrading, etc, is a big clunky but I've been enjoying the game.

Having also checked (and played) their previous game "Transport Defender", there has been significant improvements made to ensure that gameplay doesn't become stale.

My only suggestion to add something which allows for a more active playstyle.

I've played it a fair amount and enjoyed it. Surprised I hadn't reviewed it earlier.

It's not as complex as I would like it but it's still enjoyable to play. Definitely get it during a sale or if you have money to burn.

At the moment, the gameplay is a little dull unfortunately and definitely not worth the asking price.

There seems to be a lack of a difficulty curve (Currently at World 8) and it doesn't make the game enjoyable, while the amount of damage I've been dealing goes up passively (Due to the level up system) it does appear to offset a lot of the difficulty expected of an incremental game.

While I think the Skill and Level Up system is interesting, I'd expect something similar to Path Of Exile or Bytepath in the final version, where each path leads to a particular playstyle but at the moment each node is placed simply in an effort to delay getting to the other upgrades. So it becomes a question of which path you take to grab the most worth-while upgrades on your way to the major upgrades, rather than smaller increments which benefit from a major upgrade.

Honestly I enjoy this game a lot more than I thought I would as I was initially put off by the voxel-style. But, it's fairly surprising to see what it can offer.

Expected this game to be in a similar style of most Arcade shooters, where enemies take a few seconds to shoot at you. But there's no such thing in this, even on the easiest difficulty the game is annoyingly hard to the point where I refunded it.

Honestly, it's one of my favourite ARPGs.

You're allowed up to 2 class choices and then you have 'Devotion' which allows you to further mix up, or refine your build.
