Review changed from a Negative to Positive.

Trains in the early game are more viable which is greatly appreciated, additionally it isn't as big of a grind to get to start paying off your loan and expanding into new regions. Looking forward to future updates :)

In Early Access, The Slormancer contains end-game content and a max level of 40. Despite having finished the story in a few hours, the end-game content has kept me playing.
If you're a fan of Diablo-style RPGs then you should definitely give it a try.

While it's supposed to be an Idle game, there is not an incremental nature to be found as you're not making huge amounts of money to further your own ability to make money. The main currency you'll be using is 'Souls' which are given from enemies.

While the graphics, sound and non-idle gameplay elements are very well done, it falls flat when you begin to understand that you're only real chance of progression is to actually play the 'Idle' game.

I wish that in the future this game takes some inspiration from other more successful Idle games (which don't cost $7.50+) because at current, I was already bored of the core gameplay loop after 20 hours when I realised it's not about money - It's about Souls.

Overall I've been enjoying Outer Worlds, early levels are rough because you'll die to a handful of shots/attacks due to your lack of health. Combat is fun, but you will need to modify your weapons to counter a lot of the enemy types.

I would describe Noita as Magicka meets Spelunky.

Unlike traditional roguelikes where it's a mad dash to the end, Noita rewards you for taking it slow and being cautious. On the surface it seems a pretty basic idea but there is plenty to unwrap in this fantastic game.
