If I remember correctly... you need to be steam friends with someone for 2 years before you can gift or trade anything. So we'll have until 2024. Which will give you plenty of time to reconsider your offer that you made in your post. Have you ever promised to do something that you ended up not doing? And as a result of the shame and guilt, you ghosted that person for the rest of your life? I know that feeling. Like when I was 5 years old I promised I would show up for a kid's birthday party, I ended up not going, and as I result I avoided that kid until graduation. Could have been good friends.

But here it's not that complicated, rather than resulting in childhood trauma, you're literally dealing with literal cents worth of virtual items and I'm okay with receiving them or not.

Also, I made up that story about not showing up to a kids birthday party... now that I think of it. I was never invited.
