Oh yes, Elden Ring, gotta say, this is in fact a good one. Let's see, where do I start... Well, actually I don't know where. Being completely honest, I've had a serious problem with Elden Ring, but not with the game itself, but with myself. Of course I'll not go into details, but ♥♥♥♥'s have not been OK for me in the last months, so I wasn't really able to enjoy the game as I should, that is also one of the reasons why it took me so long to actually complete it. I've pre-ordered this bad boy and I've been playing since Day 1, it came out more than 2 months ago and I've played almost 120hrs in that time, all my friends completed the game within the first 3 weeks and have more than 400hrs on record, some of them even 600hrs, so yeah, it sucks, but nothing to do about that.

But let's talk about the game, this is what this review it is for. The game is magestic, brilliant, beautiful. This is basically an Open World Dark Souls where you can jump and ride a horse, that's it. I could end my review right now but nah-, let's go in deph. The Lands Between are HUGE, the Map keeps growing and growing, at one point you're like "WTF Miyazaki, stop, how can it be this big?", but Miyazaki in his unending wisdom just keeps giving you more areas, poison swamps, caves, castles, all those things you want, it makes you want to explore, and find stuff, which most of the time it's useless for your character cuz you went Strenght+Faith and you keep finding Magic and Arcane stuff, but that's cool, because it's not about the reward, it's about the journey.

The world feels alive, interconnected like never before, different enemies show up in different times of the day. You cleared that area and then went there again by night just roaming around? Papa Miyazaki says: "Give this man a giant zombie chicken, let the man have his fun". Went to Caelid to buy stuff from that that dude and accidentally arrive at night? Papa Miyazaki in his infinite wisdom says: "Give this man BDSM Darth Vader, he deserves it".

The graphics are beautiful. They are not 'bad', they are 'beautiful'. The color palette is intense, the art design is spectacular as always, the fact that you can see some weird castle in the distance and actually go there is really, really cool.

The music, is 'Grandiose'. Epic. 'Golden'. It stays in your head, specially after you fought the same mf 50 times. Radagon I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate you, you and your entitled walk and your skirt, but the theme man, is so epic, I have no more words.

Gameplay, it's like Dark Souls with some tweaks here and there, guard-counters are a nice touch, and build variety is inmense as always.

Difficulty, yes, it is hard, and it gets harder as you advance trough the game, which is a nice touch. Previous games after the first half get a little stale, which is not bad, but this game forces you to adapt and try new things. The game gives you tons of options to tackle the callenge, and that's nice, it's more accessible, but in no way 'easier'.

The story is actually pretty good. Not a big fan of G.R.R. Martin, but the old man knows how to write, of course. The only complain I have is the names, they are all so similar that it's easy to get lost in the lore.

In conclusion, Elden Ring is in fact what I was waiting for, and more. I will play it again once I get my ♥♥♥♥ together a little bit more. But for now, yes, I do recommend this game. It is, as we say in the Community: One of the games ever made. Yes, I wrote that right: Elden Ring is one of the games ever made.

(I have not beaten Malenia yet. I've been trying to meet the legend, the one and only 'Let me solo her'. Man that guy is cool huh.)
