First, don't buy this game expecting Age of Empires II. The difference between this game and the one before it are almost night and day. The core of the game is unchanged, but almost everything else in completely different.

That said, Age of Empires III is a great game, even though it hasn't stood the test of time like the second game in the series. My favorite feature, which if you ask me makes the game, is the new Home City mechanic. As you play, your home city levels up, allowing them to send you new units, supplies, or even powerful upgrades and buildings while you're in a match. As you gain experience from playing, you will recieve points to spend in your home city, consuming a "Deck Card" in exchange for a shipment that will help you along in your current game.

Another interested addition to Age III is Mercenaries. Mercs are simply more powerful, more expensive versions of other units, such as Sweedish Pikemen, Black Riders, or Outlaws. Certain civilizations are able to produce enough money to build entire armies of these units, and they're just plain fun to play with.

Naval combat is another nice update to this franchise. In certain maps and game modes, controlling the water is a requirment for victory, though the waters won't become as cluttered as in AgeII. Each unit, be it a ship, a musketman, or a hussar, takes up population. Horsemen usually take up 3 or more pop, while foot soldiers take 1 or 2. Ships have thier own limit on the numer you can contruct, so even on smaller maps with just a lake things will never get too crowded. Ships also have unique uses. One can spawn units right at the enemy's shores, while another can bombard enemy buildings from great distances.

Native Tribes are yet another addition to the game play. Across the map, trading posts are available for a player to construct an Outpost at. Depending on the type of trading post, this Outpost will offer different units, upgrades, or even revenue once it is complete. Trade routes will allow the owner to select a shipment of Gold, Wood, Food, or even Experience to quicken your progress towards a new Home City shipment. Native settlements offer new units, which do not count towards total population, giving your army a nice boost from the cheap and affective native warriors. Asian monk settlements or Spanish Missions are also available with the Asian Dynasty expansion.

And finally, Explorers make an appearance in AgeIII. These powerful, one of a kind units spawn from the get go. Think of them as your scout from AgeII, only much more powerful. These units are able to fight nutral enemies such as outlaws, wild animals, or natives to gain access to treasures that are scattered across the map. Treasures increase your supplies, give you a free unit, or even give a sizable buff to your settlement. The Explorer can also be upgraded by your Home City. Cards to increase your Explorer's health, speed, and damage are available, as well as cards that grant him the ability to become stealthed, spawn units, or reveal a portion of the map from far away.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim brings several new things to the table, but also detracts from many of the facets of the TES series that were present in Oblivion and Morrowind. The graphics, combat, and magic aspects of the game have increased tremendously, while the storyline to pretty much garbage, the "guilds" are only a shadow of the Fighter's Guild or Mage's Guild from the previous games, and the new skill system discourages private role playing.

I give it a 10/10

"Wait, WHAT?"

Yeah, I just gave it a 10/10, dispite all the bad things I just mentioned.

"But why would you do that??"

Simple! Like the previous games in the series, there is no shortage of game-changing mods available to the players. Simply search the Steam Workshop or install the Skyrim Nexus's Mod Manager and add any mods that will improve on the game play! Skyrim itself may not be a perfect game- Hell, it's farther from it that Morrowind or Oblivion- but the player's ability to MAKE it a perfect game puts Skyrim on my top 10 games list. Whatever you feel the game lacks, you can improve on!

More balanced (for now!) than Street Fighter, and unlike MK9 (Screw you Netherrealms and High Voltage) it actually WORKS on the PC.

I love, love, LOVE the animation and feel of this game. The combat system is fun and works smoothly, and the story is pretty darn cool. I'll be interested to see how balance is maintained as more characters are added to the roster.

The only thing I have against it is Marie, the final boss. I can't understand why she is what she is. I'd rather fight Seth and Shao Khan as a tag team with a right bleed and sticky B. She's so broken it's uninteresting to fight her. I hope, hope, HOPE that she's only this way temporarily because the Dev just didn't have the time to code anything more balanced at the time. I await the day that "Completely re-worked Marie!" headlines the patch notes.

Dispite Marie, this game is worth every penny, now go buy it!

A perfect blend of RTS and FPS.

Aliens and marines square off in a battle of wits and weapons, and the commander calls the shots. While the ground troups serge forward, crashing against the enemy ranks, the commander builds and improves his team's arsenal to overpower the other. As the marines research new weapons such as flame throwers and exo-suits, the aliens evolve spikes and armor.

The ultimate tower defender! Dozens of traps, weapons, and spells for you to blast, crush, and maim the Orc hordes with. Defend your rift by yourself or team up with a friend to take on even more difficult challenges.

This game is all of my nostalgia. Text books be damned, this is where I learned everything I know about history.

This is one of my top 10 games of all time, for sure, but I'm so rusty at it that Salad Fingers likes to play with my nipples. Deffinately worth getting (again) thanks to updated graphics, new soundtrack additions, and Steam workshop compadability!

Maxwell, a sharp dressed demon, has trapped you in his own little world. Here you will have to fight to survive alongside the other residences of this strange pocket dimension. Pigmen, giant spiders, and jackalopes are common sights, while other, rarer creatures you will have to hunt down... or let them hunt you down.

Explore the world, makes some friends, invent new things, and take the fight to Maxwell!

Oh... and try not to starve.
