It is little known, but never the less true that a gigantic toad inhabits Lake Victoria in Africa. This toad, which is called H'mambe by the locals and Jumbo-Mumbo by white explorers feasts nightly on sacrifices of dogs and cattle, driven into the lake by it's worshipers. It is said to be 50 ft long, and to be able to eat native canoes in a single gulp. The noted explorer Stanley Livingstone saw Jumbo-Mumbo and recorded the event in his journal, although this was latter expurgated by publishers who thought the public would not believe it. Jumbo-Mumbo is greenish in colour and reeks like rotten eggs.
