good story and gameplay. A medival adventure simulator.

An incredible game. The turned based combat with active QTE combat is just great had a lot of fun with it. The story and ost are incredible - might be the best game I ever played. If you like Final Fantasy you will love this game. If not you will probably as well.

So the game was fun. I think the old game was better (Subnautica). The map here is smaller and sometimes uncessary cramped. I find the old fauna better, the bioms were more diverse. The story or the presentation did not sit well with me. The PDA entries worked fine for a crashlanding situation or in a situation where they all died off without the possibility to get off the planet. Here it felt weird.
The Land Biome was a nice idea but again the way how it was implemented felt off for me. Its like a badly designed maze for me.

ALAN (the alien "companion") was a nice touch and he felt right in the story. I played the game on hardcore and I dont know if its that I am just better at the game then I was in subnautica or if its by the design choice but I got used to the mobs very quicky especially the "final"biom I had zero respect from the leviathans. The Seadragon scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of me in subnautica as the first Leviathan did.

Even if I bash the game a bit in the review I have to say that nothing from that is gamebreaking and I had a good time with the game. It just felt like a downgrade from the first game in story, music and enviroment. But that might be a subjective

I played the campain through pretty much in one sitting.
I very much enjoyed the story, the writing and the gameplay. I would buy the game again.

It is a magnum opus of our time.
They did a game which is beyond good. Like if you are reading the reviews and contemplating of buying it or not I spare you the time DO IT! Not only did they create a game which is GOAT but also they managed it with the respect to those who are working for them. I have a dream that every studio will be like this. Great games, from great humans. They deserve every ounce of success they get

Great game, with decend chalange and good mechanics. Btw the soundtrack especially the barbarian one is awesome

Good game, had a lot of fun. A fast action paced shooter with a good story a few twists overall very enjoyable game
