As an EA player, Baldur's Gate 3 came a long way with lots of TLC from Larian Studios and community feedback. It can be played however you like whether you prefer minmaxing, roleplaying, or messing with the boundaries of the game. There is something for everyone (especially with the modding scene).

Baldur's Gate 3 is a TRPG like Divinity Original Sin 2, but it's based off of the Dungeons & Dragons system. This means in-game classes, races, and world-building is based off the Dungeons & Dragons world. The character customization is extensive with heterochromia, vitiligo, feminine/masculine voices & bodies, toggle on or off race-only colors, and different faces exclusive to certain races. All classes have at least three subclasses (your specialization), but some are lackluster compared to others. While your character has dialogue options based off their background, you also have the option to play as origin characters instead (this is suggested on your second playthrough) or the Dark Urge (suggested on your third playthrough). Origin characters are the main companions that you'll meet throughout the game and can invite to your party (if you successfully convince them). There is someone for everyone's taste whether or not you want to pursue a friendship or romance. They feel very real and nuanced to the point that I bought the game just to interact with a certain companion (cough, Astarion, cough). Lastly, the adventure and story will take you to many places. If you explore every nook and cranny you'll be rewarded, but there's no one way to describe the story itself. It seems like it'll be a typical grand adventure with constant fighting of the big bad's minions. However, starting from the first Act, it's very down-to-earth with every NPC having unique interactions, relationships, and dialogue. Be warned though, there are bugs ranging from companion interactions not triggering to a companion staring at you blankly before starting dialogue. Larian Studios releases a lot of hotfixes so that everyone can enjoy their experience.

General Overview
Cooking Simulator VR was not what I expected. The game felt very limited in the sense that majority of it was a rigid physics playground versus a cooking simulator. When I say its a "physics simulator", I don't mean to sound naive as that's what they were trying to accomplish. However, that's not necessarily a good thing. It has features such as pots, trays, pans, utensils, and other kitchen tools lock into place in sinks, on stoves, and to hang for easy access or cooking. However, this feature is not the same for the ingredients in the game neither when stacking them or simply placing them on a plate. This causes most of your dishes to fall off because they are sliding off of each other and the inability to create your own recipes such as something simple like a sandwich.

Recipes
Unfortunately, even though they don't allow you to make and serve your own recipes, there is nothing special about the ones available. You get a review based on time and taste, but the process of making the recipe is as simple as dropping ingredients, heating it up, and hoping it sticks to the plate. Since there is a lack of creating your own, a suggestion would be to focus on the recipes in the game to be "combined" when placed together. For example, a dish I made was "Fish w/ Roasted Brussel Sprouts". The fish stuck to the plate by itself, but the brussel sprouts were paired with lemon slices making the ingredients fall off as there was no room. Unfortunately, because of the grading system they have to have limited recipes. Its the fact that the recipes available provide nothing to the game other than something to do.

Cooking (Ingredients)
The ingredients available to you are somewhat limited (which I noticed there is DLC for the non-VR game that give you more ingredients, recipes, and cooking methods). It has commonly-bought vegetables (carrots, onions, garlic, eggplant, etc.) and fruits (apples, tomatoes, bananas, strawberries, etc.). There is a wide selection of different meats (duck meat, sausage, steaks, hamburger patties, chicken legs, fish, etc.), but you're unable to shape them the way you want (sliced meat, meatballs). There is a lot of herbs and spices that take up majority of what you can use in your cooking, but it's really nothing except flavor text (pun intended).

Cooking (Methods)
The cooking isn't very intuitive. You cut what you need then proceed to "heat" the food in a variety of ways. The stoves and grills are very straight forward. The microwave has the feature to add a timer and change the power. However, the oven is just a dial that you turn to power it on and off. It's very basic, that's all.

Gameplay
The most noticeable issue other than the plates was how the hands didn't collide with objects. I tried closing the fridge doors many times and it was easier with a physical object (like your tray) than my hands. The same goes for opening it as it would often close on its own for some reason. Since cutting is really the only other thing you can do its very minimal. Your hand goes into different positions that you can't see until you grab the object. It makes sense so you can see what you're cutting. However, the cutting itself takes a bit of work for rounder objects or longer cuts. If this game taught me anything cooking-wise its time management. You need to multitask to complete meals in a timely fashion such as roasting potatoes in one oven and prepping the fish at the same time. The only issue I've really had is pouring/shaking. Sometimes the seasoning would shake twice when I shake once therefore overseasoning my food. Sometimes a dish asks for a specific amount of liquid which is very hard to get the exact amount even when I wasn't rushing. However, that's more of me being a perfectionist rather than it affecting the score too much (it asked for 300 and I got it to 299).

tl;dr Get the game if you like physic sandboxes and you're looking for a food-themed game. Otherwise, don't expect actual, detailed cooking.

Just trying to clear up misconceptions so the game doesn't get bad rep...

1. Customization
Every class can be customized down to the body type, hair color, eye color, piercings, tattoos, etc. Your customization is not locked based on what you picked. You can swap classes by opening up the menu and they have their own individual customization. The only one different is the Nosferatu clan which are a more feral-vampire type so they have more feral features. DISCLAIMER: in trios, similar to Apex, everyone takes turns picking a class. It is one-per-person so make sure to customize all classes in the case someone takes the one you were going for.

2. Mechanics
I only played two games so far, but the system works very well and easy to pick up. The tutorial teaches you the basics for what everything is meant to do, but doesn't really give you all the information. You can find what you need in settings and in the menu (there is literally a journal). However, in case it doesn't, here some things you need to know:
- There is a ring. It closes. Run from the ring.
- You have a melee slot meaning you can equip a melee weapon without using up a gun slot.
- When using Enhanced Senses the blue pools of light mean there is loot.
- Entering a building or jumping on cars recklessly will cause an alarm to go off, but there is loot to be found in some buildings or in some cars.
- You can heal on citizens OR finding blood bags/syringes and holding G then releasing on the one you want to use.
- There is ammo types and each gun requires a certain ammo type. You can press I to ping it or drop it. You can only hold so much of each ammo.
- Entity is basically an NPC-protected loot area. I got a minigun from a red chest guarded by three entities that my teammates had to help me take down.
- Teammates regenerate on their own, but you can help them get up faster. If they die while downed there will be a blue sigil to respawn them to takes 10 seconds. They are located on the map.
- You have to turn voice chat on in settings to hear others. You automatically use Push to Talk which is Left Alt. There is also text chat, but you obviously want comms.
- Z to emote. Your welcome. I suggest swapping out the basic dance with MAKING WAVES.
- Loot spawns near blue-smoke found in Enhanced Sense.
- There is resonant blood which gives you upgrades like cooldowns on either ability, passive healing, and increased melee damage. You start off with three "resonance" to spend (by sucking up to three resonant blood), but to get more resonance it will say you need to drink more player blood. However, ENTITIES also count towards your resonance.

3. Bugs/Lag
There is a loading screen bug where you can get stuck (whether or not you tabbed out) on the YOUR TEAM screen. You'll still be in the game and when you die you can go back to the lobby, but the problem will keep happening until you restart the game. Another bug is that you can get stuck in the lobby which won't affect playing the game. However, there are NPCs you can talk to for quests so you won't be able to interact with them. I had to restart the game for this bug as well.

Lag? Haven't had an issue yet.

4. Gameplay
It gets too chaotic. There are too many teams fighting at once meaning there are too many teams alive about 10 minutes in. I've only played two games at the time of writing this, but me and my team would already have our weapons and just be on the rooftops waiting for enemies. However, when the ring closes, there are about 5 different teams fighting, including us, and you can't tell whose from what squad. The map needs to be bigger or there needs to be less teams. If its the former, there needs to be no gameplay change. If its the latter, gameplay needs to be more about stealth.

-
In conclusion, good game to look out for if you like the battle royale genre. Unlike the stiff parkour of Apex, you get to jump around and make moves. Slam them into the ground, assassinate someone while invisible, or be surrounded and make them think twice about their life (think fast, chucklenuts). While I focused on gameplay, if I were to write an extensive and actual review then the game shows lots of TLC. The animations, the graphics, and the style is chef's kiss. The only negative is how short each match can be due to the small map and lots of teams still alive.

If you like playing hours and hours of fun then this game is for you. Judging from my 405 hours of game time, there are tons of game-modes and communities within them for you to select. I personally found a home in the DarkRP and Jailbreak communities and used to play everyday. I recommend this to anyone whose into games run by the community.

This game was pleasant to play and had under-tones that most players wouldn't understand.

It took me only 2.4 hours to finish the game while clicking on every interactable thing (not including using things from my inventory which give humurous quirks.)

Most players wouldn't recommend this game because it was a 'demo' length and isn't a fully fleshed out game.

The entire point is that it's represented as an old-timey, point-and-click game with details in everything you click. If you are only playing it so you can just get done with it then you aren't doing it correctly.

There are mini-details that flesh out the story and give more depth showing each characters likes, dislikes, and their story, but you can only learn about them if you REALLY, and I mean REALLY play the game.

Over-all, I would give the game a 8/10, myself. It's not perfect, but it's great!

The soundtrack is amazing, the visuals are great and I wouldn't prefer any other art-style, and the mechanics are so it's an easy game made to tell a story.

Some would call it a disguised visual novel, but, even without reading Homestuck, you can tell it's all about the adventure. And everything you do has a purpose. Every puzzle makes the story connect and fill in the plot holes.
