A worthy successor that fleshes out a universe, regardless of what followed. Highly reccomend.

Great game. Good build versatility, if not as good as the second game. Probably the 'fairest' in the series, as unlike the sequel it doesn't require endless mob spam, and unlike the second, it doesn't have the enemies play by a completely different set of rules (everyone has poise, vs. only enemies have it in the 3rd).

The game that made the series. If either of the others had been first, the series wouldn't be nearly as popular.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. You cannot beat the last Xpac because of a glitch halfway through. All of your items become completely unusable. This game is a flat-out fraud given this fact, which is disclosed no place in its information. The base game and the first XP work fine. But you will not be able to finish a game carried over from either because you cannot proceed past Bebilith halfway through the second chapter. There is no known fix for this. This is completely unacceptable for a game this old on Steam.

Edit: If you're willing to cheat, this is an easy problem to solve apparently. If you have the discipline not to keep cheating, it's fine. A lot don't. It worked for me. I will change to recommend because the other two campaigns go off fairly well. But this really should have been fixed.
