Love it so far. KBM control is terrible, but can get used to it.

One might argue that the game sucks, it has terrible performance, etc etc. It has anti-cheat and invasive... Whoever complains about the anti-cheat is usually a cheater..

But the game is fun. Unfortunately, players have no idea what they're doing. I've played many games with my friend and we won majority of them. The only game we lost was because our teammate left, but even this game we almost managed to win 2v3. I actually think the player was banned because his steam profile states multiple VAC bans and other game bans.

Tutorial doesn't explain the game properly and to fully understand it, one needs to play much longer.

Looting phase is slow and repetitive but it is a nice change of pace compared to many games. You can choose a different strategy by invading enemies territories earlier to steal their resources so that you can retrieve yours later on. It is high risk - high reward.

Capturing and defending phases are pretty fun. Those who hide outside and simply shoot each other from the far, will say it is boring. Use your abilities to get inside faster. People complain about pointless defence reinforcement, but it's not true. It is possible to purchase more reinforcement and repair tools down the road making it extremely useful. It also prevents certain heroes from using their abilities.

I'd say heroes are very well balanced and fun to play.

Somehow, everything makes sense, but the game is very repetitive with lots of downtime of running around and looting. It is not the best game in terms of visuals and art - feels like they couldn't decide what direction to choose.

Fun nonetheless.

Don't buy the game. Company shutdown and scammed everybody. Check reddit.

Embark just makes the best games.

Don't buy the game in SEA region. Servers suck and you most of the time end up playing with Bots.

Most of the maps just suck. Small and copy pasted assets all over the place.

Because maps are small, AIR combat is meh. You're either hiding from AA or blown up by it.

Also, all the major bugs are not fixed and instead BR is released. Bunch of bug abusers who lock on your chopper without any warning.

In general, I wish I could refund this game but it is too late. Perhaps it will be improved and I can continue playing.

Note: I preordered the game. After the release, they increased the price without even warning anybody. Another scam move.

I thought that Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown was a cash grab, but it is nothing compared to this game.

At least those guys built their own engine. These guys couldn't even reuse existing engine.

It is a complete cash grab. Things to do in the game:
- watch boring cutscenes
- drive from A to B to watch more cutscenes
- drive back B to A to watch more cutscenes
- shoot some terrible NPCs in between. All weapons are boring. There are no gudgets. Some flying drone that I didn't manage to use before the refund, but it is still boring based on online videos. All the weapons run out of ammo except the pistol. There is no way to buy ammo... You can collect but it is not even enough.
- cover system is terrible.
- everything is scripted. All the car chases are scripted. I once rammed the scripted NPC off the route. It was stuck. There is no reset button. Nothing. I simply had to drive far away from the NPC to fail and restart the scripted mission.
- NPCs constantly talk to you. Like please. Shut up at least while I'm driving. I get that you're AI generated, but please... Just enough.
- 1 sound track is playing throughout the whole game. It never stops. I had to mute music.
- side missions are the most stupidest thing in this game. Like what's the point? Why? I get it based on the story but those are soulless especially when NPCs are terrible! Side missions: 1) play as some random drug addict or control some bots 2) shoot everyone using the drug addict or scripted bots
- you cannot deviate from the mission. At all. Mission failed. Wanna play open world? Then complete the story first so that you cannot refund the game. But then what to do in the open world? These is nothing there. No police. Dumb walking NPCs. Cars are spunges. Just a good looking city which feels like a waste of time to develop.
- in short, the game is 8hrs long if you just run through main story. Main story is the game.

Based on comments - performance is terrible but it doesn't concern me as I have a high end pc.

Sorry, but I really wanted to like this game. It looked interesting and I was excited. But this is just terrible.

Refund before you can. I couldn't refund TDU SC in time and was forced to play it.

Awesome. Spent 20hrs building and not much progressing. Can't wait to explore more and talk to my neighbours.

Prior to season 1 I didn't have a single crash on Nvidia RTX 3070. But game frequently crashes after the update. Will update my review once it is fixed...

Unfortunately, the game is a flop. It is good first 2-4 hours. After that it is just a mess of broken servers and waste of time. Please, sign this petition to issue refunds: https://chng.it/bRfCQDhRBt

No more cheaters. Either they are no longer interested in game or devs did something.
