Was lucky enough to play the beta. Loved it, cherished it, remembered it. Finally got around to playing the full game and.....

Act 1 was great, the horror stuff with the mystery and the dungeon master was beautiful. Just as hooked as the demo with even more spice. Then act 2 and I was a little skeptical. I expected more story or lore mixed in with the gameplay. There are a few hidden things but it's mostly just a twist for gimmick sake. The Scrybe concept was cool and I liked the idea of this universe being bigger. Lastly, and sadly, act 3. As the climax of act 2 was reached I was thrown into act 3 excited and terrified for what was next. What lay before me? Utter and complete disappointment. Did you love the atmosphere of act 1? How about the antagonist acting like a dungeon master? Like deck versatility and a free way to approach a battle each time? Well act 3 throws that ALL away. Welcome to drab music, sleek yet empty atmosphere and a cold tone. I understand that may have been the point of act 3. But to me and many others, it copies act 1 and then removes all the charm from it. So much so that for the first time I got bored while playing. It's even more punishing than act 1 yet somehow less engaging. Easily the worst part of the game, so much so that I don't even want to finish the game in fear of how the ending is finished. Don't trust my opinion? Play for yourself, make your own opinion. But this went from perfect to solid to garbage in only 3 acts.
