Is fun :3

I can firmly say I have not had a good time on this, I have been getting under 10 FPS when I am playing it set to low, and frankly I shouldn't be getting this horrible of performance when I have an RTX 2070, and a Ryzen 5 3600, yeah it's not the most recent card or CPU but I'm playing this at 1920x1080, this isn't something that should be difficult to optimize. At this current state I do not recommend this game.

Into the fires of battle, unto the Anvil of War!

I really enjoyed the game, it's cute, sweet, and fun, HOWEVER... the voice acting sounds almost AI at some points and feels either poorly stitched together here and there OR just a bad cut considering voice acting for a video game is different that for a show, regardless, it's a good fun game for a solid 2 hours plus all the stickers for the book. If you want to 100% it, I could see it being a good 5-6 hours of playtime, which, for the price, is quite decent especially if you pick it up on sale!

Apr 2023: I hate this game with a passion, I also love this game with my heart, 9/10 glitches monthly with every update but they're fixed mid month hotfix, still going strong! <3

EDIT Aug/22/2025: I have played the soul out of this game. Near 2000 hours, countless hours behind the scenes working on server administration, I have a bittersweet feeling about this game, it's extremely detailed yet convoluted. It has had so many glitches and issues every single force wipe and as a server owner it has caused so much stress with every little issue. I really... enjoyed my time, I do think I am done with rust, it all started 1772.3 hours ago in the Year of our Lord 2020, and I bought this game for me, and my 2 best friends. We joined a PVE server with PVP zones, and after about a week I got into a lightly heated argument which resulted in my ban. My other friends spoke up for me and they were banned too. My best friend, Raven, said "you know what, F that guy, lets make our own server." and that was that, we researched and found a cheap option, Gameserverkings. (It was NOT the best option.) We bought it, booted it and delved into it, let's just say, server work is hard and extremely overly complicated for modern age. Long story short, 2000 hours later, and here we are, time for us all to move on. Countless memories have been made here, I don't hate Rust, I actually have a very special place in my heart for this game, Facepunch have undoubtedly made one of the most unique survival games to date. The elements of the lore, the subtle yet worrying undertone of "Who is Cobalt?" and "Why are they doing these experiments?" is something that I adore and sadly I don't think we will ever get answers to, but I do think one day, a year, two, maybe 10, I may come back and join a 0/100 population dead server and just wander around, there's something special about the world itself that I don't think can EVER be replicated. Thank you Rust, and Facepunch for that matter. Also ♥♥♥♥ you I hate Rust.

PS. DO NOT RUN YOUR OWN SERVER YOU WILL LOSE 1000 HOURS BEHIND THE SCENES EASILY.

tl;dr Was bad at launch, season 2 hit and it was good, 3 was better... issues are near gone and there's still new content being released, not bad DICE, do better at launch and take your time next time. 9/10

Gameplay is set at high with no bloom, no motion blur

Game runs smooth, very little frame stuttering if any, most common issues are honestly team balancing you either demolish the enemies or get slammed against the wall with a truck like Dom from Gears of War 3.
New weapons are great additions, there NEED to be more sidearms soon with the variety of Primaries.
New vehicles are great but the new CAV-BRAWLER needed the 105mm gun the M1128 was deployed with, would have made for an amazing addition to the ground vehicles with how weak it is to Heavier weapons such as the T90 and even C5... I DO love that they added the GD NGSW in 6.8x51 that was an amazing choice since the M5A1 (SIG Spear) is in the game already.

No 10/10's JUST yet, maybe once we get a few content drops and fixes/patches it might be a top tier cod, DEFINITELY the best one we have had since 2019.
Pretty fun, no big Gameplay issues and bugs are near non-existant, BUT there are a few texture bugs in the menu where you can see your character, holding firearms looks wonky because his/her hands are wonky, other than that, 8.7/10 overall

Loaded in with 2 friends, Jumped into the Night Club Op and saw piles of dead clubbers, walked around a coroner and we see a woman running towards us crying with a bomb vest, next thing we know all we see is red mist. 10/10 would traumatize my squad again.

Is fun, lotta cool people, met some new friends, game graphics good, gunplay is good, :)
