Management issues:

Automated bans
Automated support ticket responses
Clearly out sourced support staff who have no idea what they are doing
Attempts to gaslight the community to redirect their own failures
Exploiters get slapped on the wrist with 24 hour bans while innocents get hit with permabans
Leniency towards streamers who blatantly exploit on stream
Plenty of dead servers, still no server merges in sight

Game issues:

New dupe bugs every week, client/server architecture inherently trusts the client for too many things.
Poorly designed game play end game loop particularly for pve
Poor diversity in terms of mob design, quests, and even a copy pasted town
Class balance? Use a great axe lmao
Artificially inflating endgame difficulty out of no where in patch 1.1
Downgrading everyone's equipment out of the blue
Just not respecting players time

I really like some aspects of the game, particularly how gathering and crafting were designed, but the implementation has a few issues and they are going in a direction that just disrespects players time and efforts. There was so much potential for this game, but evidently they squandered it.

To add on, I find the state of customer support and their community out reach to be ridiculous. Amazon has always had superb customer support for their eCommerce and cloud services. So what the hell happened here with Amazon games studios?

I fell off this slippery slope and now I can't get back up.
