This campaign is better than the main game's IMO. The characters have a lot more personality and the situations feel more legitimate and less gamey.

The Call of Duty that started it all.

Graphically it hasn't aged well and the gun play is a bit awkward, but the campaign is fun and varied. It also portrayed the Soviet side of the war in a way that wasn't done in the future CODs which was interesting.

It's about 6 hours long so if you choose to get it, it's best to wait for a sale.

Just save yourself some pain and don't play this on Veteran. It just makes the game more frustrating than fun.

After years of waiting for Xen to release I am quite pleased with how it turned out. Would definitely recommend to fans of the Half Life series.

The gunplay is fantastic, the soundtrack is fantastic, the atmosphere is unnerving, and the game is the perfect balance of fun and difficulty.

While it is good fun solo, if you can find people to play with, it makes the experience all the better.

This really is an improvement to the original game.

If you haven't bought the dlc for this game's counterpart, then it is really worth getting this game as it's cheaper in the long run.

Unless your OS is 32bit. Then you're stuck.
