buggy but entertaining

too many cheaters, it's literally a dying game bc of it

way too many cheaters and the dev team have made a mixed bag of 'everything wrong with other shooters'.
Not even worth the time investment to make your own opinion, the obviously botted positive reviews because this game is honestly trash, It even lags when firing on an RTX 3070 for some idiotic reason

A genuinely good game, in case the memes and videos didn't clue you in. Ignore reddit and other cesspools, the cheaters and derps/morons aren't actually that common.

The vanilla game is buggy but still interesting and engaging.
Finding uranium and ice starts becoming taxing around a 6,000 block sized ship and literally all i'm using it for is more refining and expanding.

BUT

You can install mods to fix that, apparently, which i'm about to do right now.

Trolling is not only condoned but encouraged, with anyone telling them to shut up being muted by moderators.

Too many bugs. Most don't stand out until you try to do solo content like expeditions but even by tier 6, lower tier content is extremely difficult due to bugs. Got a playlist of video recorded bugs even, posting this review in the hopes the developers will fix this crap.

I had a really negative review of this game prior to patch 7.0.
Balance has drastically improved.
Quality of matches has improved.
Player base has improved (Or been banned/removed somehow).

I'm very happy with the changes lately.
Give it a shot.

Seems like fun if you like challenges, for quite a while. A solid 2 weeks of play.
Then it starts getting real grindy, however there's only 3-4 hours a day of the same repetitive nonsense these days. Now there's NEW repetitive grindy nonsense to do lol.

Seriously though games' a lot better for growth/advancement now, much easier to get forma and orokin upgrades/potatoes.

Can actually be pretty satisfying until MR12 or so, until it's time to spend a month grinding a nekramech

Absolute garbage. Game trolls it's players constantly. I got to level 65 berzerker in +12 tier 8 gear and need tokens or dungeons to gear up further. Problem is, skills don't work reliably like i have to cast FLurry of Blows 6+ times on BAM's just to get it to activate. By that time you're already knocked down, lost 6,000+ hp (around 10%) and the opportunity to USE other skills FROM Flurry of blows is just gone (the BAM/Boss will stun or knock you back down again if you don't block).

So some characters are utterly broken. The combos are totally 100% useless on zerk, space bar never works "even if you get the timing right" like Lillypichu was saying in her horrible, biased review of this.

Long story short, save yourself a lot fo frustration and don't install it. There was a patch today, absolutely nothing was fixed. No bug fixes whatsoever and just in the Ares run I had a boss insant-cast charge 5 times in a row, which i couldn't block or dodge.

Broken AS HELL.
