Having a great time so far!

Just started StarTrek TV series last month and this is a great game to play in tandem. Overall a fun experience but have a few things to point out.

Positives:
The features in this game are way ahead of its time and really help enjoy the game. I love the fact I can be on the bridge of my ship and other great features that alot of MMO's dont have for some reason. The ship combat is fun, unlike how it looked, I actually do enjoy it and for people like me that had no idea, this game has ground combat as well! Dont expect anything fancy but its there, and there are "dungeon ques" like WoW would have, for both ground and space. I think the foundation of this game is just amazing and if they remade it, even with just the features it has now but newer graphics and a few tweaks, it'd dominate the sci-fi mmo genre.

Negatives:
This is more towards the developers. As a newer player, I've ran into a few bugs and the people I'm in group with say "yeah that happens", etc. so they've just accepted these issues and assume nothing will be done. To be more specific, I was in a dungeon and a enemy got stuck on top of a cliff which we could not reach, as that was my first time I was wondering around trying to figure out what I was missing while 3/5 people left the group and the other player was nice enough to explain it was a bug and as I didn't know how to leave group I sat there for about 10 minutes until it teleported to the ground. Bad first experience but my main concern is if a new person is welcomed into the game with bugs, they're going to bail before they invest too much time into it.

To the Devs:
You have so many loyal fans to this game and especially the genre. I assume you're giving it your all but they deserve more. I hope you the best in continuing this game but please look into hiring more people to improve the quality of life for the players. The STO community has been very welcoming and actually have a presence on Twitch & Youtube, which is rare for old games. This has helped keep me involved and ignore my issues but its painful to see how much these people love this game, yet deal with so much. Very much a one-sided relationship from a new persons perspective.

Challenging and fun to work with friends. A lot of different "builds" you can do trying to complement who you're playing with.

Great game, perfect for that sci-fi MMO fix. If it had updated graphics it would 10/10 but can use reshade to enhance the visuals.

if you can ignore the competitive part being kinda ehh especially at the start and enjoy the world, its the best.
