Valheim is a great game based on Three concepts.
1. Gathering resources
2. Building/creating items
3. Killing bosses
The game in itself weaves the three concepts into each other since you need to gather resources to build and create items for the game's boss fights.

Building increases the time to finish the bosses, since who doesn't want to make a great base?
