Stealth is well done. But you will die a lot. I hate this type of dark-souls vibe and wish I had never bought it. Hate this game. But, if you like that kinda thing, it is really well done.

Developers played too many Dark Souls games and injected mostly unfun into the gameplay and its mechanics. I'll keep trying cuz I paid for it, but so far there is only ever one way to get things done. Super limited in where you can move and how you can react. So figure out where they WANTED you to go and do that. Its not about your immersion.
The atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous though. Stunning even. But that beauty is annoying when you can't really go where you think you should. Like a beautiful model with a squeaky voice. Potential for your dreams but more likely to be your nightmare.
Also, I'd like to gag that kid's voice channel.

Good story. Lots of side-quests. Decent voice-acting. Some merit in replays where the story and game meta merge. Quick-save works!

Missed opportunities in commanding the ships / flying / role-playing. Crash to desktop. Only one save point. And who the hell REQUIRES an SSD? Missed that in the specs so my bad, but c'mon. If I downgrade the graphics quality I still get several seconds delay before the dialogue sound comes in, still have 24 second loading screens. What are you still loading?

I bought this cuz I thought all the haters were about the mod community. But after a point, the progression through the main quest starts to unfun. Forced moral-based character choices. Bullet sponge aggressors instead of new tactics to combat them. A weapon modification system that is consistently bested by the random scavenged drops you can get. A skill tree that is lackluster and vauge. Repetitive flora and fauna that feels more like an afterthought.

I'm pig-headed enough to keep playing to finish the story, but in the end the whole experience is just disappointing. Its a $20 game at best. It ain't no Skyrim.

What a pain these puzzles can be. Probably because they are not really puzzles. I think pedantic is the right word to describe them. So frustrating at times. I found myself loathing going to a new scene because I would have to learn a new set of illogical combinations again.

But for this genre (and age), it is what it is. Story is good. Snarky dialogue is high.

Forgot how low QOL items were back in the day. This has no ability to save where you want it. If you don't mind starting some new main line quest, deciding that it is too dark to see to finish it and select "restart from checkpoint" , and having the game lose hours of gameplay because it went back to the previous main quest start ... then this is the game for you. What fun.

While I was playing it up to this point, I was enjoying it. Just this save system bit me hard. Salty now.

Played for ten hours. Got to level 14. Never saw another player the entire time. Good for loner types.

Also the flight is kinda cool. Actually rather zen in a world where it is only you, but don't try an event. You'll get your tiny 1000HP slammed with a 690,000 hit before you can even attack once.

Set scenery was inventive and fresh.
Storyline was workable - just ignore the obvious plot problems

Really, just disappointed although I played it all the way through

I spent 42 hours in this game in order to get to the point where I could get laid by every member of my party. I feel that this is an unrealistic commitment to a waifu affair in the modern age and is a gross negligecne on the part of the developers.

I fear -fundamentally - on my second date.

Well, decided to reinstall and give it another go. Played all the way through from start to finish in one sitting.
Good story, no bugs, not a fan of the respawns but knew they were coming so it didn't actually but me.
Was gonna complain about the ending but it wasn't actually the real credits - played for another hour before it was done. Good ending afterall.

Def buy, especially on sale.

Compelling but the game-advancement is annoying. Everything re-spawning all the time in a single player game is just tedious at best. If you like killing stuff over and over again, go for it.
