Sure it looks like it came out on PS2, and sure it's not a big budget game, but man is this fun.
Blast giant alien bugs and frogs with giga shotguns and missiles. Call down air strikes that could "even kill god". Fly around killing flying saucers. Punch the living hell out of godzilla in a mech. You want it, this game's got it.
Honestly if it had a bigger budget it wouldn't be the same game, it's a bit jank and has some "fantastic" voice acting but it really does all add to the overall charm.
Tldr - fun kill bug game when you just wanna shoot stuff

Yes but with a catch. A lot of the functionality is locked behind the DLC, so if you just have the base game you lose a lot of the game, including key mechanics of the game as of now. That being said it's a great game wit tons of depth. Either get the dlc or find a friend that has it a play with them
