It is very easy to get into. It has a solid tutorial and so many ways to customize the difficulty level to what fits you wherever you're at. I have introduced several of my friends to this game and they've all loved it. Not one found it to be too complicated, not even those with basically no prior gaming experience.

At the same time, when you get deep into it, there are extremely difficult challenges that will take hours of research and learning - and possibly several tries - to beat. It can be a tough game if you want it to be, or the perfect game to chill out to and cool down for a few rounds before bed. I do this a lot, and have fallen asleep while playing it a fair few times (In a good way - it's chill and relaxing, NOT boring). It generally doesn't require a ton of precise movements or timings, so it's the perfect second monitor game, while your first is dedicated to a video, work, discord chat, etc.

The graphics are crisp, vibrant, and are presented in a very nice cartoonish style that I can best describe as 'friendly'.

On top of all that, the game is only $10, and often goes on sale for as low as $1, and it could probably run on a TI84.

Possibly even better than all that, though, is the community behind this game. The amazing people on the Bloons Tower Defense 6 (BTD6) Subreddit and Discord are always super friendly to new and old players alike. They're always happy to answer questions, give advice, or party up for a round of co-op. The dev team (Ninja Kiwi) also hangs around these community hubs and is genuinely one of the most engaged and cognizant teams I have seen. NK has been making Bloons games for years, and they clearly care about them as much as the fanbase does. The game gets constant upgrades full of good ideas and cool new features, and nothing ever feels rushed or unpolished.

I have played an irresponsible amount of this game and I have not found a complaint worth remembering so far.


Edit: Yep it is still very very good. They added many things, like bosses, new heroes, a new tower, a new tier of tower upgrades, new game modes, and several smaller things. Still a very good game. I still play an irresponsible amount of it.
