Here it comes folks, Capcom has been doing too good this recent years that they had to ♥♥♥♥ it up somehow. Adding DRM to prevent mods to a 11 years old game, even if just to "test" the waters is a MAJOR red flag, and leaves me quite concerned if i should actually buy another Capcom game on PC, as I'am quite interested in modding.

Oh boy, here we go. One of those cases i wish Steam had a neutral option.

Look I love the game, I really do but the monetization before we´re even a year in is already out of control. The game itself ? Excellent. Probably the best SF launch since idk SF2, that being said I'm very worried about the future of the game with regards of cosmetics and additional content. We are 6 months in we already have a 30$ Season pass for 4 characters and now 18 alternative costumes that in total costs 100$. Keep in mind that the price of a single costume is around 6$ and an ENTIRE CHARACTER is 7,50$ how can anyone justify buying the costume I have no idea. Oh, let's not forget said costumes can only be purchased with in-game currency. So even if they are 6$ you still need to spend at least 10$ to acquire one, you know the classic F2P monetization scheme. Oh what's that ? SF6 is a 60$ ? Oh yeah that's right, Silly me, I almost forgot about that. But then again can you blame me ?

.Premium season pass, that for now doesn't offer anything worthy it. That I'm sure that it won't change in the future.
.Numerous in-game currencies
.Pay-walls for extra characters, even to lab them. Minor thing for now, but i can't wait until we´re on S3 and unless you shark some money you´re unable to lab against half the rooster.
.Paid in-game currency with that sweet spot where you can never have the "right amount".

Oh and this is not even going into how much of a downgrade this is from what we had on SF5. SF6 is a much better game IMO but for all it's faults, SF5 monetization was pretty good. By just playing the game you could unlock, characters, costumes, stages. Sure it would take a while and you wouldn't unlock everything with just in game currency, but then again what can you unlock SF6 ? Oh yeah nothing!

TL,DR: Game it'self is great, but if you a person that it's weak to cosmetics, I advise you to stay way or be prepared to be nicked and dimed as if you were on a mobile game.

Pretty good game that would recommend to anyone interested in Yugioh and altough is different than your standard Yugioh experience still pretty good considering is a F2P game, i i will be mostly adressing the experience of a full F2P player.

The game is very generous don't let anyone tell you otherwise. At the beggining the game will shower you with gems and atlough after a while you can see the cutout point you can still farm around 80 to 150 gems daily and you get legacy packs from games that give you random cards and sometimes small amount of games 5 , 10 (don't expect much from these).

ALWAYS buy the pass. It pays itself on the gems (as of right now) and gives SR and UR tickets that are the main thing you should be worried in getting.

Use your tickets wisely specially the URs ones, You should first spend them gathering Staples that you would put in all decks, examples would be maxx c (i hope they ban this ♥♥♥♥), ash blossom, effect veiler, infinite impermenace etc. Most staples aren't in secret packs so you probably gonna need to craft them directly (or get very luck on legacy/ master packs). After you gathered your staples Use your SR tickets and gems to build your deck of choice. If you want to maximize you should check if the card you want is available on secret packs if it's just craft 1 SR from the deck you want, that way you unlock the secret pack. You also should always buy 10 packs instead of one, reason being is that way an random SR is guaranteed and if you didn't get any URs the next 10 pack have a guaranteed UR in it. but do keep in mind that is not an guaranteed card from the pack, but even if it's not from the pack you wanted any UR is vaulable since you can dismantle for tickets.

As i stated before most cards can be dismantled (exception being Legacy packs and solo rewards) that is why the game is so F2P frendily because even if you get cards you don't want you can just dismatle and build the ones you want.

That aside i must warn players, (Speciially old yugi players) if you´re a old player that mostly saw the anime or played the game with a few friends not being aware of the mechanics and with your own rules be wanred that this game is a very diferent beast from what you played/remenber. The game is a lot faster now but it's also a lot more complex. But since it's BO1 most decks can be somewhat vaiable, altough the further you climb the more you will face the meta decks and the harder it get's. So while decks like Dark Magician / Blue Eyes aren't that great they can still go pretty far if you build it correclty, anyone saying otherwwise dosen't really know what they´re talking about.

Amazing game, one of the best RE games in the entire franchise. Alltough it's has a few problems here and there, i highily recomend it.

First that would come to mind it would be pacing and exploration, i really liked the setting and characters in the game and exploring the Village it's great, altough it could be a little less linear but my main problem is that i think the Castle should not been the first area u go in, as it's the best one in my humble opinion it should be the 3rd, Beneviento alltough it was a nice and all for me it's not really what RE it's about and that after the Castle that for me it's the best part of the game was little disapointing, saving the castle for later and only giving a few glimpses on the distance would be better but that is just me.

Story wise, it's decent nothing amazing but that is not why i really play RE games and honestly can't really it may come down to your taste, it's cheesy but RE has always been cheesy so just keep that in mind.

Performance wise, it's great ! RE engine again proving to me amazing... i can't wait to see how MHW2 will be on this engine. The game runs amazing for the graphics it has (Specs on the profile) and it was mostly bug free except for a few frames drops during bite animations that seems to be a well know bug hopefully Capcom is already aware and a fix should be coming.

Difficulty, it was quite good. I finished on Hardcore and i found the game to be a lot of fun. Got stuck a little iin some places but nothing bad, alltough Village of Shadows on a fresh new game should be quite a challenge.

Content, replayability should be good as it is with most RE games, specially with the upgrade system that could help change how a playtrough go, as usually u can also unlock infinite weapons in case u just want to have fun. But what i'm glad is back is Mercenaries mode, that seems to be quite good so far. Haven played a fair bit the skills could use some tuning but it's a nice adition to the mode to make things more varied.

So as stated in the beggining i HIGHILY RECOMMEND IT, it's not perfect but it's great, if you liked RE7 you probably will like it too.

This game to me is very strange, but first things first. Let me get you some background about me and my Story with the Souls Series. (This gonna be a long Review but bear with be if u can.)

Today i'm a Souls Fan, but that only happend after the third entry in the series (Not counting Demon Souls) had been release. Don't get me wrong i have the first DS on Steam since it launched but at the time i bought the game with the intention of playing with friends and without any help from Wiki's and that abysmal cancer know as GFWL i quickly gave up.

A few years past and DS II launched and again it got me interested in the game. This time i progress a little further more but at the time i felt that the game was weird, and much easier that the first, from the few hours that i played the first i could tell that much had changed but since i didn't have that much knowledge on the Series explaining my opinions proved to be dificult.

A few more years past and after the launch of Bloodborne and DSIII i had quite a few friends telling me that the series was my kind of game but they recommend it to me that i played the series in order if possible and since i already owned DS on Steam i tried again. Now I can't say what changed, but this time the game got me and got me good. After 500+ hours on DS was eager to play the next since the series was already in the third installement and boy now i know what had changed and how to describe it.

So let's get into it.

First enemy placement changed (to the worse). While DS had moments that u had to agro more than one enemy they were scarce and most of the time if that happend it was your own fault. This on DSII changed way to much, many areas of the game now u have to agro 4 to 5 enemis at the same time. Something that any DS player know to be almost always a mistake since the game combat mechanics is mostly desgined to 1v1. Now you may wonder why DS combat is bad when u are facing more than one enemy, see if you are facing more then one enemy learning the enemy movement set is always useless because besides how the combat mechanics are designed enemy atacks will go trough walls and others enemys whitout any penalty and yours don't (Actually it does go past some enemys but its far too reduced compared to NPCS). This changes the gameplay from be aware of your surroundings to exploit enemy AI on closed spaces (Since most of the time that is where you will be fighting on). This alone is almost way to irritating to me to finish the game but it's not the only reason.

Healing now this is been said time and time again but seeing as will be affected on the next point i find it worth metioning. Etus Flask has been nerfed way to much and Life Gems have been added to the game. While some say that life gems has ruined the game healing system since it removed the importance of Etus as the only "healing item" it's actually a half/truth. While sure Etus is your main source of healing in DS is not the only one. While i know that this is from a veteran perspective it's still valid, Hummanity exist and while is not the main pourpuse of the iteam it still can be used that way specially after you learn that besides healing your life fully it also increase your defense as they stack up and it can be farmed. So i don't mind that much that Life gems on mid to late games can be bought almost in infinite amounts.

Stats oh boy here we go. While DS one had some stats that sure were useless ( cough cough Resistance) it never had an must had stat since it actually was based on your build, and oh boy how this has changed on DSII. Some may disagree but for me and for many Agility is a terrible thing that was added to the game and turns out to be A MUST HAVE stat. Why do i say that ? Well see DS have a lot of things going but one thing you learn trought the whole game is that your iFrames during your evades (The best way to prevent DMG are only tied to your weight and a certain unique item). This has changed dramaticaly in DSII where your weight only changes the roll speed and roll distance and this is a painfull thing to learn if your played DS and mastered the game. This is why Agility is a must have stat, because Agility increase your iFrames back or even more of what they were in DS and not that the game will tell you any of that, the only description of the stat is as it follows : "Agility increases the speed that a character performs certain actions" Oh i almost forgot Agility also increases the speed at which you consume your items, and in a game like DS the speed that you can use healing items in battle is something very important that the player should be aware that is tied to something as usually it's not the case.

Honestly i could say more as why the game truly does not hold when compared to the rest of the Series but seing as this has become a long review let me finish while i don't recommend the game specially at full price ( I got it on 75%) but if you are a souls fan and have the need to more souls sure go ahead but go in warned that the game is very very different from DS and DSIII
