This game is an essential purchase as part of your coronavirus starter pack, alongside Animal Crossing: New Horizons and a closet full of toilet paper.

It's still Quake. Game is free to play and filled with microtransactions to get cosmetics and hero unlocks for your sense of pride and accomplishment. But you don't have to give a ♥♥♥♥ about that, because it doesn't really give you any advantage over free players. If you're a good shot, you can just play Ranger with the default noob skin and still kick ass. And that's good enough for me.

Playing this game will truly make you feel like a bad ass. Then you'll beat it and you'll realize you're not even close, but enjoy it while it lasts.

This game is exceptional. It's a successor to games like Dance Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero, but in VR. Compared to those games, the controls are much easier to pick up, as they feel more natural. It's still Early Access, but it only gets better from here, and it's already an amazing experience. Also a great workout.

It's basically DLC for Overwatch, and that's good enough for me. You should expect on and off again pay to win scares. When they happen, just stop playing and wait for the community to ♥♥♥♥♥ at Hi Rez enough that they'll remove the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ changes they made.

It's a multiplayer game without multiple players.

Pros:
Great graphics that are about 5 years ahead of its time
Fun gameplay mechanics that give you a variety of different ways to approach situations
Levels are very open and allow you to explore and choose your own path to the goal
Interesting story / setting

Cons:
Game still runs like ♥♥♥♥ on modern systems since it isn't properly optimized for them
There are many different weapons, but you will be forced to use the Korean assault rifle for most of the game due to a lack of ammo for other weapons
Stealth mechanics aren't fully fleshed out, the AI will easily detect you in situations where they shouldn't

Overall:
The game is worth picking up if you can get it in a sale, but you may find yourself extremely frustrated if you have a high end pc and still see frame drops into the 40s. It is worth noting that Crysis Warhead is a very similar game but has much better performance.

Gameplay is solid, but the game is such a tease. It's only a single mission. Just buy The Phantom Pain.
