Beware of Scammers
Don't respond to fake links pasted by unknowns in Chat/Trade, they can steal your password & take over control of your account.

Things to keep in mind
# 1 Everytime you login in steam profile see for this green text URL
or
# 2 Don't try to login, when you open unknown link. (usually a fake Steam Profile/Trade site)

# 3 Want to know whether the unknown link is Fake/Real?
- Open your own steam profile in a new tab & login safely

- Open fake URL in another new tab & Check whether the spelling is correct

- Now if the "fake URL is not logged in" &
& in new tab your "steam profile is logged in"
- That means that the URL is fake & it is designed for phishing
- If you try to login in that fake URL your password will be recorded & the email verification code will be also recorded/stolen
- Then Scammer can login with your details & he can do what ever he wants with your items/account/wallet
- Warn your friends to "not to respond" to your chats from hacked account coz they will use your identity & scam your friends
# 4 How to recover hijacked account?

- Normally after 4 or 5 days of creating ticket steam support would reply. Be patient. Don't complaint again & again
- They will get all your items back if they find your case is genuine & you provide correct details & snapshots & links etc
# 5 Most of you guys know all these things, but never told your friends. Please share my profile status msg with friends

Important Facts
- Same account cannot be logged in at same time in different PC using Steam Client
- Password cannot be changed without the help of Steam Client

Immediate Solutions
Suppose you realise that you already entered the password & email verf code in the fake login page,
- Do not log-out from Steam Client
- Change the password using Steam Client asap
