The game is a lot less buggy than on launch, that and there is a thriving modding community over on NexusMods whether you love or hate the site there's a metric ton over there for us to download and play. Honestly, I'm downloading a couple pretty large packs right now to test out and see if I like what they do to the game. So far I usually like playing as either a Corpo or a Nomad mainly because Street Kid hits a little too close to home for me. Growing up in a pretty crap part of Southern California that is. So if anybody see's me playing Cyberpunk it's probably heavily modded and I'm being a straight ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to everybodies favorite talking gun! (I WILL NEVER RETURN HIM BECAUSE HE DOESN'T DESERVE THAT!!!)

Damn I miss this...

Fun little game. Fell asleep forgetting to close it so it it was pretty easy honestly. But that being said it was fun.

Love this game to death but the infuriating constant crashes make it more worthwhile to get a PS3 emulator functional to play this... The PC port was never optimized to the point it doesn't matter how insane your hardware is you will not be playing this for more than one mission at a time and I have to say, that drives me straight up the wall...

Fell asleep trying to play this. It isn't like the older game at all, just a glorified story game that plays like a visual novel. I regret buying this but because it put me to sleep I'm well over the return period in hours.

Love the game, from the combat, skill progression, the characters and the story. The one and ONLY reason I'm giving this a dislike is because I lost my save for my ENTIRE playthrough up until this review. It's acting like cloud saves aren't a thing at all, that even though I have cloud saving enabled my entire save and game settings are just ignored? I really do love the game but I have to hate on it for this one reason because you don't take away saves from players like that. We put so much time and effort into these save files it's like physically assaulting us it hurts so bad when it happens. If I go to reinstall my game again in the future and my save file DOES carry over then I will HAPPILY change this to a positive review! But until then the game gets this one. And before anybody comments I double and triple checked that cloud syncing was enabled. My save file persisted through a windows reinstall because of upgrading my PC and then this happens when I have an OS corruption and have to reinstall again? Hell no!

This game is great, it does have an insane learning curve though. But if you want to figure out the game at first, I recommend using WAND (WeMod) to give yourself infinite health for your group so you can take time to figure out what to do. But if you don't want to cheat then I wish you the best of luck! But that aside, once I got used to the game it became addicting. My favorite race is the Skeletons or the machines. I have a bunch of mods that expands the crap out of them.

TLDR: I love this freaking game!!!

I hate to have to give this game a negative review, but I can play Helldivers 2, Cyberpunk 2077 and even Battlefield 6 on the highest possible settings. No issues besides some minor lag spikes once in awhile. This game has two major issues that caused me to give it a negative review. The constant lag that makes the game feel sluggish to respond regardless of graphical settings and the fact that when trying to build a base it crashes my computer, as in full lock and reboot crash. I loved the first game to death, so it kills me to have to be negative about the second game but as of right now the game doesn't feel playable to me because of the crashing my PC issue. If it was just the game crashing that would be fine but crashing my computer can damage it if I keep trying to play. So until this game gets a few more updates, I have to uninstall it and walk away from it for awhile. However I WILL NOT BE REFUNDING THIS FOR ANY REASON!!! I FULLY intend to play after the full first year has passed. For me the launch was rough because I wouldn't play due to the intense lag, now it's a computer crashing issue. So yeah, after a first year I will come back and try again. Hopefully to an actually playable state that I can fully enjoy. Good luck Obsidian! You've proven you can do great things! So let's see you do it again!!!
