At first, there were pirated cartridges for Dendy (this is a Russian-Chinese copy of the NES. Spoiler: THEY STILL COME OUT!) and SEGA, then there were pirated discs for the PS1 with a distorted translation, and then there were PS2 discs... and only with the introduction of the PS3, Xbox 360, and PSP, did official discs appear. Prior to this, the only official discs were Western games published by 1C, Fargus, and Akella...
In fact, the story is much more extensive, but I doubt anyone will be interested in listening to a 13-year-old boy, or rather, me...
An interesting fact is that we sold discs with pirated versions of games from the 1990s to 2017...
