I just bought this game the other day and I am so addicted. It's simple in it's core, random floors / random mob spawns but always 3 floors per quest/adventure. Even so, I am loving this game and everything about it. The immersion is great being able to move around the table to see the board from any direction, the people that play this game for the most part are chatty/friendly and coming from someone who often sticks to his own pack of friends, this game has me branching out to meet new people to play with! There are currently 2 Adventures and 4 Heroes with an update coming soon (Dec 12th or 16th (not sure of exact date)) that is adding a 3rd adventure and a 5th hero class! (Bard). If the developers continue to add adventures and hero's and maybe even open this game to the steam workshop this game will surely explode on steam, especially with the non-vr / vr cross-play (*not yet available for non-vr )and crossplatform between steam/oculus store.

This game is a tabletop boardgame/card game mix. You do have cards that consist of abilities and items, but you also have movement and "basic attack" that is controlled by you manually picking up your piece and moving it across the board. Each hero has a "refresh ability" card that is always available and can be used once per turn or once it has refreshed (cooldown). All other items/abilities are one time use. You gain cards by either killing mobs or looting chests and can hold 10 cards in your hand. There is also a revive system, when you reach 0 hp you are downed, on your turn if you have a healing potion you can revive yourself, or an ally can bring you back up on their turn if they are able to reach your body/token. You have a limited amount of times you can be downed before you just outright die though, which I believe is 3 lives, on the 4th down you are fully dead.

To conclude, I feel most DnD fans and board/card game fans can find a common ground in this game and enjoy it. Even with the small content it has right now it's still very well done and simple enough to be able to do the quick tutorial and jump right into the game feeling like you are at least somewhat prepared. I am excited to see this game grow and look forward to playing this with my friends and trying to conquer each adventure! (Rat king be super stupid hard lol but I enjoy the challenge). 12/10
