I have been great, busy with starting a contracting and renovations business this Spring and I ended the Summer more or less with a 2 week cottage trip which I got back from earlier this week. In terms of PC related stuff I'm nowhere close to a new build even though I'm due for one because this 1070 and 6700k have aged and show it haha.

I never cried about the game's lack of support towards my hardware... I have only mentioned that here, the fact that my game isn't smooth on my display whatnot isn't what turns me off...

You dont neccesairly "need" that controller, i have a friend who completed all 3 souls games with a keyboard, its just that you SHOULD play it with a controller, also there's a difference between taking advantage of your 144hz monitor and being a crybaby when a game doesn't support it. One accepts that its only 60 fps, other goes to the forums to tell everyone about how displeased he is.

I want to take advantage of my 144hz monitor, obviously you see my setup yes? The game feels sluggish in my display (vsync fixes of course), but regardless I am bent on playing with keyboard because I don't own a controller....

If I need a controller, than with all due respect to the game, f*** this...

You have 60, why isn't that enough? Dont be greedy, again you dont need the keyboard button prompts because you aren't going to be using a keyboard, or if you are, then its your fault for trying to play it with a keyboard. As i said before, it works bug-free with a keyboard, but the keyboard is NOT optimal for this game, thats like eating soup with a fork, possible, but stupid and masochistic.

Its not a port, and its fine as it is, you aren't meant to play it with KB+M, and if you are masochistic and you INSIST on using keyboard and mouse then tolerate the lack of buttons

Dark souls was made to be played with a controller, period. Just because mouse and keyboard is better in MOST games, this is not that one, it works with KB+M but its not optimal, and no, just because you can play it with a KB+M that doesn't mean you should. Get a controller and play it with that, or beg for a refund, cause this is not the game for you.
