The first Anno I can honestly say, everyone will love. They have fixed just enough of the quality of life stuff that all the annoying stuff from the old games have been banished, best looking RTS and deep civ builder, without all the annoying spreadsheet stuff that CIV or Paradox have.

a great remake, adding just enough things content wise to keep it fresh, whilst keeping the feel in the art and the style.
A big achievement.

the game you want to play if you want to be immersed without magic and fantasy elements getting in the way, fully realised medieval world with extremely detailed environments, explorable cities and towns, and huge architectural wonders... and then theres the gameplay itself, finding a good mix between hardcore realism and fun mechanics the combat can feel punishing yet rewarding when you come out on top in difficult battles. The story is full of detail and choices and the sense of progression of both your characters traits and perks, as well as the gear itself makes you feel like you grow along with your character.
A must have for any medieval or just ancient history buff, and for anyone who just wants to get lost in a world full of characters and cities from another age.

Great game! Even though I knew the brother Gabe was going to die (it's literally in the trailer), the game portrayed him so well that when the time came, it was a real sense of loss and powerful drive for justice. A surprising ending but ultimately satisfying. And the location is so picturesque, it makes you want to live in H(e)aven.

The game was better than expected. The story dipped into the LGBTQ line as a teaching moment only occasionally. It wasn't put there for ideology's sake, in fact it wouldn't have worked without it. It was integral to the story as a whole and understanding the characters, their motivations and fears. Reaching the resolution was rewarding and even the steps along the way were worthwhile stopping and taking in like the fairy tales and locations.

An amazing storyline, told in uncompromising in depth length.
This is a true rpg wrapped in an fps wrapper. NOT the other way around.
