God, i need more Colossus-likes.
Eager to try the full game, even if i don't particularly like the slow introduction or may question the "balancing" for present in the demo.
Story doesn't seem like it's my cup of tea either, but the sandbox seems interesting enough from what is available in the demo.

Playing for the sandbox-ish Colossus-likeness and satisfied in those aspects from a demo.

The perfect bit.
Ball x Pit, you could say

It's good. I think it's better than Vampire Survivor.
Haven't gone through NG+ yet, but even so the game has enough content.
Really looking forward to a possible DLC, or even possible free updates.

Only gripe is minor, in that the end doesn't affect things outside it's cutscene.
That, and no endless mode to stress test the stupid OP evofusions.
There is no twist or revelation, and there is no closure.
Nothing is ever over, there is no end to history, you'll see.


Edit:
The madman did it. And in a free update at that.
Unlockable endless continue option after the final stage boss that really stress tests OP builds.

In the last two biomes ledges seem almost designed to look walkable but arent and the climbing toggle sometimes screws you over by grabbing multiple times, but besides that it works as expected.

More items/mechanics would be welcome but it's quite fine as is.

Price should be quite good,
considering it will cost the entire friend group the equivalent of a single decent indie game copy.

Very promising demo.
Liked it way more compared to Vampire Survivor.
Nice soundtrack, baller premise, very pretty art. Effects are very well made as well.
We will have to see how the full game pans out;
an endless mode, randomizer, and/or some sort of challenge levels will greatly increase replayability for instance.
Only issue for me was uneven mouse speed on my 21:9 UW monitor.

For now it's very pretty to eyes, ears, and plays good too.

The content of the DLC is lackluster;
and the bugs are there for very stupid reasons (like tying physics or enemy rate of fire to framerate instead of a fixed internal timer)

3 new survivors
  1. we have Zenyata at home, like two of his abilities synergise
  2. students 3rd mod, aka bad dlc boss recycle
  3. Chef, funny but nearly soulless compared to ror1

like 3 new maps
In actuality probably 5, counting the boss.
Disregarding the obviously bugged spots, spawns and mechanics on new and old maps, the new maps are either too horizontally or too vertically vast with little to no interesting spots. boss map was very pretty and imposing until the boss appeared.

bloated item pool
Again, disregarding the bugged to bogged item related bugs introduced with the DLC and accompanying forced update.
Maybe a total of 5 out of all 16 DLC items are interesting to not dead weight.

For instance; Sonorous Whispers is just re-enabling bosses to always drop items, like in ror1, and gives a chance for elites to drop items, like 57 Leaf Clover did in ror1. And this is the best one.
Imagine getting a red and seeing, and i quote "provides 75 Gold (+25 gold per stack) based on the current difficulty and the Survivor's level at the start of each stage".

Gearbox should be held in contempt for developing, releasing and additionally charging for this mess.

Banger soundtrack, especially if it was your first Monster Hunter.
It's funny that this is the only legitimate way of owning the OST outside of Japan.

The 3k resolution cover art is greatly appreciated even if there's a flat orange glow laid over Lagiacrus's back crystals, which is also abruptly cut off towards it's throat.
