It's good, but i miss the Monster Energy drinks....

This game is really flippin cool.
Now it's not without it's faults. Re4 feels like a more complete package since you are hauling ass as leon exclusively through the whole game and upgrade your tools throughout

in this game you are dealing with 2 characters, and so they are both doing it a little bit but the progression for them both does feel a bit lessened.

But despite that it's still a really cool experience, and i was really invested in the story, and gameplay is peak

it's not without frustrations but nevertheless one of the best modern metroidvania games ever made

I realize this game took ages to come out, so im very happy that it finally did. And it was a pretty cool experience.

That being said i did much more enjoy the first half of the game over the second half. Without spoiling anything i unfortunately ended up wandering around aimlessly for a good hour, because i had missed a door. And there was a point similar when trying to figure out a puzzle.

Also the epic freaking gun tool device, i think is sadly a bit underutilized. I Love the aestheics of it, but in practice most you use it to occasionally see some hidden messages, or do a kind or do a kind of lock and key. Not bad things i just wish there was more of it.

The ending also left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. Im sure i'll ponder over it a bit and maybe it'll be cooler upon reflection. But right now idk.

The game looks, and sounds amazing though, no questions there.
I think the best i got out of this is the hope that maybe there can be more games with similar ideas in the future.

I still recommend it for the vibes

I've effectively grown up alongside undertale and now deltarune. And i really liked going back to the world at chapters 3 and 4 and continue the story.

One of my biggest hopes and dreams is to one day be able to help out in *some* capacity with the game cause i love game deving and i love deltarune. But basically es good

Now that all 3 Hitman games are in one complete package it's an amazing game, and i personally love and continue to play the still sorta new freelancer roguelike mode, it does have some quirks and i hope they continue updating it without too much dlc stuff. But it's good regardless.

They are a bit stupid with how they handle all the 100 different dlc's and packs though, i've seen people making steam guides on how to buy this game which is not a good sign. So if they ever streamlined this whole thing it would be amazing for everyone

this game is amazing, i have no idea if it's actually truly unfinished or not but even after a decade it's still amazing.

I've been playing the game with a nintendo switch pro controller, and i activate the gyroscope for adjusted aiming whenever i hold down the left trigger. I truly think it's the best way to play

Im sure this game was amazing for it's time. But this review is from current times.
And it's so infuriating to play. The Hd graphics look passable at best and horrible and confusing at worst, guybrush himself looks like a lost-child, and not in an endearing way.

The input system for this remake is horrendous. I know it was the style at the time, but i have to open a sub-menu for either.

opening, closing, pulling, pushing, talking to, picking up, giving, or interacting with stuff.
Most of these different options are only used a handful of times, and you have to scroll through each of them to get to the obvious pick whenever you wanna interact with something.

Getting to the titular monkey island, you're also at a point forced to watch guybrush row a boat around the entire island to progress, it can take a minute to get to and from.

And a lot of the writing and jokes, just do not hit at all, with the odd-spaces between sentences and modern graphics.

The game also completely froze a handful of times and required me to restart. So there's that

I do not reccomend this game to anyone. Only as a nostalgia trip or a relic of the past

Friend bought this game for me and him to race together, we were stumbling around the weird menu's for 10 minutes before we found out how we joined eachother's crew.

Then we tried and failed to meet eachother on the map for a few more minutes, at some point, i saw an icon of him stuttering in front of me. So the game knew we were in the same location, but wouldn't render his car.

After more stumbling we finally found out how to join a race together. Despite both me and him being able to collide with the same cars, we cannot collide with eachother. And waiting to start a race for atleast 5 minutes at a time because there's no one else to join.

First impression is it's a big ass america sized map with nothing to do in it. I don't reccomend, play a better racing game
