game didn't really need a remaster but i'd buy it 10 more times just to support Croteam

game was and still is one of the greatest puzzle games of all time

The combat is done so beautifully its a shame the rest of the game is so problematic and boring. Fighting monsters with each vocation brings its own deep pool of entertaining mechanics and I wish I could just fight monster after monster without having to do all the running and questing in between.

The story is so utterly boring and every character in the game is bland and one-dimensional and on top of that there's no mounts and limited fast travel, so most of the gameplay is just running from point A to B on foot. The map is pretty fun to explore the first time but expect lots of backtracking through areas you've already cleared multiple times.

Massive monster corpses not despawning until you rest is very annoying when they block doors, tunnels, and pickup items.

Also please take the good armor and weapons out of shops and disperse them in the world. It's pretty lame getting to the end of a dungeon and opening the final chest just to see your new loot is worse than the ♥♥♥♥ you just bought at a vendor in the last town.

Game has lots of potential but I think I'll wait patiently until DD2: Dark Arisen comes out with more combat content, thanks.
