They are not the same game. Rivals is not a clone of OW. Buttttt, if I had to give you a feel for how it plays, just make OW good. And add fun heroes. And make all of them OP.

With the bad days behind us, I can safely and confidently report that this is one of the best games ever made. Seriously, just buy the game. Watch some badass videos, visit the amazing subreddit and surrounding community, and buy the damn game. For Managed Democracy and Super Earth!

Look into the Anadius Updater+Unlocker for DLC purposes. The base game is alright, but the DLCs are where it's truly at for any prolonged playthrough(s), and I can't justify recommending the game+DLCs through means of buying them ALL. That's EXPENSIVE!

Be it with randos or friends, this is one of the best "sit down and relax" games I've ever played. The only caution I'd offer is this: Do NOT take it seriously, and if slurs offend you, mute VC. This game is purely a ♥♥♥♥ around game, do not make it competitive, or it will kill your fun.

The gameplay is amazing, I can't think of a single thing I'd change. Hell, I want more of what they've got going right now! But, by God, the servers and matchmaking... Let us play offline, or if you INSIST on this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ online only system, at least make it function! This is only made worse when you look at the training missions and how they're handled. You have no excuse, we can see the systems are in place to fix this, all anyone needs to do is simply try running a tutorial mission to see how scuffed this entire matchmaking system and always on mode sucks. I'm not sure if it's because you're trying to prevent DLC unlockers, or people pirating the game, or if you plan on implementing micro-transactions... But this is unacceptable. An early access should not be leaps and bounds better than the RELEASE of the game.

No, seriously, play this game when it's open again or released officially. You won't regret it.

Imagine playing a game where, in the very, very beginning, they're already sexualizing a FOURTEEN YEAR OLD GIRL, and worse. I didn't stick around to see the rest, but I think there was at least a pathetic amount of APPROPRIATELY AGED characters, but yea. The devs like little kids, that's something I won't support, there are tons of other (and better) games out there.

It was amazing fun before. But, this newest "Adam" update... Purchase it. The only gripe I have is the servers, be it disconnections or modded people running insane 14+ person lobbies, but this is totally avoided by hosting your own. You will not regret it, the reviews you've watched are telling the truth, get in here already and shoot some baddies (and civs... Accidentally, of course)!

Don't expect it to 100% mimic DND 5e rules. But, it's a good story, good visual, good world, and amazing fun. Also, the modding community is already quite impressive, and the game is still being made. Imagine the replay ability in the future! Not that it lacks at all right now.
