I got this game on sale for less than 1€ and I'm not sure if it's even worth that much. I wanted to get at least halfway through before posting a review despite noticing many of the issues I'm about to point out almost immediately, but after half a dozen deaths on the very first boss, I can't be bothered.

The first and biggest problem is the total lack of control customization (or any kind of options menu at all, really). If you have a QWERTZ keyboard setup, the game is unplayable, as the block button (Z) is miles away from the rest of your controls. If you press and hold 3 keys at the same time, your controls will lock up, so if you want to jump and dash diagonally, if you hold the spacebar for too long, the dash just won't activate. The up arrow is used for interacting with NPCs as well as advancing the dialogue, so if you try to skip through, you end up opening the dialogue box again. The range of the interaction is massive, so if you try to dash or attack up anywhere near them, you'll open up the dialogue when you didn't want to.

Regular enemies follow very basic movement patterns and seemingly serve no other purpose than to be a minor inconvenience on your way. They also have no hit confirmation, making whether you hit them or not a total guessing game. Enemy projectiles track to an insane degree, which makes the aforementioned inaccessible block a requirement to get through certain areas. The environment is drab and the only major difference in locations besides the enemies is the single color used per area. Every single platform in the game has a curved end so you can jump onto the edge of a platform only to inexplicably slide off.

The last update by the dev was about a year ago and he doesn't seem active on social media, so I highly doubt any of these issues will be fixed anytime soon.
