at start I was pretty mixed about it but as I played more it's actually pretty damn great and the new regions and creatures that James made are real pretty and interesting, but it still needs those updates cause it does feel unfinished.

What an amazing experience The story is incredibly sweet and unique with how self-aware everything is, especially that "you" the one playing the game is you!, and also the many ways that the game interacts with your system like adding files and programs and such are really cool and immersive.

I can't say more without spoiling it just that the solstice makes it a complete package and the best part of oneshot, I wish we had more game like this.

well that's rain world for you the affairs of passing gods, the cycle and don't be a a#shole like ancients because what offering from void could usurp the gift of life already given? - *said a based echo.
you often don't see a dlc that has like 4 times the content of the base game downpour could be released as rain world 2 honesty.

so an free update to the whole game that are official mod support on workshop, remix which is a huge quality of life and gameplay options for your tastes, safari, challenges and a collection menu that stores all the pearl dialogues broadcasts chats and some dialogues through the game THANK GOD we got this I love it it gives more purpose to pearls and it's pretty satisfying seeing the menu completed .
the 10 new regions and changes to base regions are really good some base regions are entirely new regions on different timelines and the lore associated with them oh boy it goes hard and very detailed, I also love how the environment changes on different timelines based on the events that happened I won't say it for the sake of spoilers everyone should experience everything in downpour for themselves.

a lot unexplained things gets an explanation and details like echos, ancients etc... cool very amazing, It didn't feel right to me how before downpour everything was a mystery and you only see a very small part of the story of this world and it's all up to you to theories and guess I do kinda like this an ending for yourself but what about the others what happens on future or what happens on the past? it leaves you with so many equations, so now with downpour well there is still a lot of mystery and theories but you get enough answers without giving you everything and there is a ending to this without it being a ending story and this is the correct way to do this leaving room for imagination and maybe what comes in the future and most importantly true to the rain world itself you know... being way too complicated, I love the lore of rain world. (I definitely didn't watch a 2 hour video to understand the lore)

yeah did I mention that there's a f#ck ton of content in this game? it's ridiculous, if you're hooked you're off to hundreds of hours without even noticing it yourself
this is more rain world for those who are already are a fan and it did served a fan really well

indie studios rule honestly, the best experience I had in a game and I will never forget it.

so as you can see the importance of this game was showing a family guy death pose, a chao with glasses and mustache, vector is a gamer and the character we play is kinda cute and I guess he can end up winning a billion dollar and go to space which is pretty cool.
I like the way sega does April fools others should do the same.

it's neat how much of a similarity dusk has with games like quake, duke nukem and blood in levels, design and gameplay. soundtrack is fantastic and is by andrew hulshult also composed music for doom eternal ancient gods part 1,2 and many more games a very talented person.
I enjoy 90's FPSs a lot boomer shooters you say and I really liked this one an overall amazing game.
my only criticism is it felt like it ended too soon (3 episodes/33 maps) and it only left me wanting more after the ending but going for achievements and 100% levels give you a good amount of replayability with endless mode.
the game is very funny fr 10/10.

no one will expect what experience they are going to get when starting this game
this is a an extremely unique and amazing game only if you really want to play this and have the patience for it, 90% of people buying this game will drop it off after and hour or two and never come back because this is a very hard game no joke you have to experiment with everything, learn stuff by yourself and try to survive while exploring this cruel and unforgiving world which is the the beauty of this game an ultimate test of patience and how good is someone in learning and adapting.
go blind don't look for guide don't spoil yourself do your best as a slugcat, and please play rain world.

that's awesome

there's something about this game that really stuck with me and is by far the best game I ever played and my most favorite.
all aspects of it like art direction, combat, soundtrack, visuals, ... is masterpiece well crafted and well executed with so many amazing details.
the story is sad and can really hit you in the guts the whole game is tragic simply put.
one of the games that has special place in my heart, an extremely beautiful game I can't rate it enough.

touching story and amazing work of art finally bought it after 4 years on my wishlist, very happy to replay the series.
