As a fan of puns, I must say this game's title is a perfect fit.

Outer Wilds is simultaneously one of the easiest recommendations I can ever give and one of the hardest recommendations for me to explain.

It occupies the same delicate space as The Witness where one's blind experience is something to be treasured; keeping away from all spoilers or guides like your life depends on it is the best way to play it. Unlike most games, this is not solely due to its narrative – though that is absolutely a mystery begging for the player to unravel – but due to all of the emergent moments and problem-solving that embody the game's solar system, whose idyllic melancholy portrays outer space better than any other video game setting, period. If you like adventure games in any way at all, or games focused on exploration, this is a must-play. Like The Witness, it's not for everyone, but those hooked by it will be hooked hard.

It's been a month since I beat it, and I would genuinely regard it as one of the ten best games I have ever played.
