I have played the everloving $%^* out of this game way back on the SNES, and to have it pop up on steam with updated everything, it's definitely hit the nostalgia button hard. The controls are butter smooth, the new attacks are a nice addition, and taking advantage of the iframes in attacks is still a go to way to get through crowded areas. Already on the 5th stage and the only, literal only complaint I have is that Ninja can't grapple the first boss and any time that dude shows up later. In the original, you could grapple stun that dude for a quick kill so kinda sad that will affect any speedruns of this, but that aside, the updated graphics, music, and controls are fantastic. Pick this up if you like side scrolling beat-em-ups!
