It’s Battlefield alright, but this time with good sized maps, perfect TTK and great character controls. And it’s launched in a completed state, working perfectly out of the box.

Set your brightness correctly, the left icon should be BARELY visible. Set your difficulty to expert or higher. Now let the nightmare begin.

It took me 8 hours to complete and I have to say that when it comes to tension this game is on par with Alien Isolation, a game I have played over and over since 2014. The aliens here actually stalk you, quietly moving around the ceilings, walls and vents. They can come out of anywhere or just be hiding and waiting. And they are lethal on higher difficulties!

The way every item has to be held to be used and isn’t just a display or a part of the HUD is so immersive and nerve wrecking. The game never pauses when you are checking the map or objectives. It feels like a sequel to Isolation the way it plays, looks and sounds. It even uses manual save stations like Isolation which just adds to the dread.

The game runs great aswell, I have a rtx4070 and an old i9 9900k playing on highest settings with ultrawide 3440x1440 and get smooth frames.

Just buy it and try it, you don’t want to miss out on this one if you’re a fan! If you don’t like it, refund.

So far this game is exactly what I ever wished for. It takes the best of Ghost Recon and Arma combined with a forgiving extraction shooter concept set in an awesome open map. A great coop game already.

Recommended only for the hardcore fans of Robocop. It's a budget title for sure, it shows in it's presentation. The pacing is uneven with intense action and fun gunplay being swapped for long boring side quest patrols of the oddly quiet streets of a city block in Detroit. It gets old fast. Shooting armored enemies take away from the fun of being Robocop.

The game environments look amazing but the character models look several generations old. This is a one and done type of game, no replay value, no new game+.

A hard game with addictive gameplay mechanics! It captures the essence of Aliens by having you face the same challenges they did in the movie, such as stress, trauma, limited resources, a ticking doomsday clock and the feeling of being hopelessly outnumbered. All this wrapped in a great looking and sounding package with an interesting story fitting of the Alien/Aliens universe.

The best DooM game. They outdid themselves with this one. It's better than the original.

Don't buy on steam, so many issues like no real fullscreen, alt tabbing back in game makes your character spin and other issues. and no multiplayer! Buy on GOG instead for working Novalogic multiplayer and real fullscreen etc. They care about old games, Valve doesn't.

Story
You play as a private resistance fighter that gets dragged into something much bigger when you are suddenly marked for termination. Through the story you will meet a bunch of interesting characters whos' fates you will have a direct impact on. The game takes place just before and leading up to the events where the terminators are sent back in time in the year 2029. The game ignores all the sequels after T2, and that's a good thing in my book!

Gameplay
The gameplay consists of you sneaking, scavenging and fighting terminators on big maps with multiple paths and areas. You move freely on these maps with a main mission objective and also side quests that you get from talking to the many different characters at your your hideout. The story will take you to different hideouts, but generally you walk around and talk to the different characters and build your trust with them which is important when life or death decisions will have to made later in the game.

You can open drawers, cabinets, boxes, pick locks with lockpicks, hack turrets to make them fire at terminators, destroy terminator outposts by blowing them up or hacking the main computer. You earn XP and skill points that ranks you up and allows you to unlock different things like more backpack space, hacking skill, weapon handling. Later in the game you will come across purple lasers which requires you to have a skill to use them. You can upgrade your weapons with parts you find.

The game uses an autosave feature when but also feature save stations scattered around the maps.

Audio
The weapons sounds are good, they sound like the lasers in the movies, the explosions are powerful, the voice acting is decent, a bit cheesy but it fits the b-movie aspect that the first movie had. The music is pretty good, it features re-imaginings of the classic themes.

Graphics
The environments are very detailed and the lighting is superb, however the character models are a couple of generations behind but I was still immersed in the dialogues you have with them.

Summary
Probably the best Terminator game ever made and a good game in general. A great story where all your choices matters and will decide if the characters you build relationships with will live or die in the end. I wasn't expecting that at all. The presentation is top notch with great detail in the world they created, it faithfully recreates post apocalyptic LA and the resistance shelters seen in the flashbacks scenes in the T1 and T2 movies. The atmosphere is perfect and the music help to set the tone.
A 10 hour game on hard difficulty which btw was too easy, you pickup so many medkits and ammo etc that you never have to worry about running out. So I recommend playing on extreme. Also, there is no built in FOV slider but the developers have a guide here on steam on how to change it in a config file.

Love it! Can't wait for the night maps! Buy it and discover yourself why this game is the most realistic and immersive shooter you can find out there atm!

A little bit on performance:
Runs well above 60 fps on highest settings on a i7 7700k 4.2ghz and a gtx 1070 and 16gb ddr4 3000mhz. Average around 90-110 fps. No stuttering, installed on a SSD. Some maps have performance issues in certain areas.
