Current State Opinion:
The game is still in a great state. Infact it has reached its highest population. With that has come a lot of pressure towards the developer. A lot of vocal opinions. Shared negative feelings; and he isn't being given the halfway treatment deserved at the moment for someone willing to bridge that communication from player to dev so casually. I think people are expecting him to have the PR abilities of a CEO or something.

And like most masses. They are coming crashing down on him anyway possible. He is your average dude; and is being found swinging back in some ways. I personally got a server boot myself. But I was stirring a pot with a random, when I should have been stirring my coffee. Effed around and found out while he is trying to stabilise the rest.

Everyone tripping out a bit right now. Feelings are hurt. Words are being said. And that is the mixed reviews honestly. The game is amazing. My review below still stands as is.

This game is probably as good as it will come in 2025 for a balanced F2P PvP.

You do not need to be the best to find yourself completely immersed in the world. Solo can seem like a nightmare at first. However like every game. With a little exploration and understanding of mechanics and skills. You can find yourself going anywhere.

Its really not that hard to just "Go again" too. Cannot always depend on everyone to jump at the opportunity to help. However more often than not. You will find a small group willing to hunt the people who just built up their bounty off you. Housing also reduces your respawn to 200 seconds. Save and invest asap. (VERY affordable)

I feel like PvE isn't a big conversation considering how good the PvP is -- It is great!
I play a water/fire mastery that is all about big AoE hits. Sometimes I will just be roaming maps and pulling everything together just so I can watch numbers all over the screen.
Also went Sand village. Allowing access to fan weapons; and with that character. I get to run around kiting every boss. Knocking them back and having a fun engaging battle for a few minutes!

I love this game myself. It has been the most enjoyable game to play the past few months.
