Update: EAC is still trash 5.96k hours later, Crashers still exist, Clients still exist; only difference now its only malicious clients, rather than the hundreds of utility mods that they clapped with the EAC Update

For honor is unique in its combat style, gameplay, and mechanics and ill give it that, there is no other game like it gameplay wise but over the years of playing since the beta ive watched this game go down hill in my opinion

This game used to be skill based where timings the avarage player could actually react to, and the fighting mechanics were moreover based about trying to out play the other person/group in feinting, guardbreaking, parrying. i guess you can say it was still rock paper scisors but it was graspable for the general public

team fighting actually seemed to matter in "Team" based gamemodes, now revenge is mostly a joke with how unbalanced team selection can be at times revenge doesnt even matter. or you have times where revenge tags shouldnt be applying logically speaking and i know its old, but they removed the original gear stats which i think was the best addition to the game

now for the general portion of the community the fighting has become an advanced game of rock paper scisors, that sometimes lacks actual skill depending on the playstyle the player has
- they base the character mechanics off the top 1% of players and dont care about the rest of the community
- the latest innovative attempts for characters have been unbalanced at best, downright not fun to play against at worst
- When a new character is released the game essentially becomes pay to win for 1-2 weeks because of unbalanced character mechanics
- they havent released an original map since breach mode/marching fire came out, they basically re-use parts of bigger maps, story, etc
- they havent even bothered to touch story mode since it came out, it has day 1 movesets for the characters still

You can say what you want about the game or the review, if you look at the player counts it will pretty much reflect the same story on a much broader scale
