Do you enjoy unoptimized trash? Do you relish staring at “compiling shaders” during loading screens, after every patch, and basically any time you’re in a hurry? Do you dream of randoms using trainers to rewrite your character in-game like it’s 2004? Then congratulations! This dumpster fire is tailor-made for you.

It’s almost impressive that the same studio that gave us Borderlands 2 also shoveled out this smoldering pile. Somewhere along the way, Gearbox went from making genre-defining co-op shooters to speedrunning their own reputation into the ground.

And the CEO’s smug statements? Chef’s kiss. Nothing like corporate gaslighting to make me uninstall faster.

After buying every BL game, every expansion, and even defending the weaker entries out of loyalty, I can finally say: Borderlands is dead to me. Gearbox is dead to me.

Buy it on sale, or even better yet not at all. Companies won't change while we keep handing them our money.

Sttuters, crashes, unplayable mess.

It's buggy. It's grindy. Nothing is more infuriating than losing all of your hard work to a glitch.

But you get to ride a Trex. And you get to make a Raptor farm to bring to low level bosses which is super fun

No explanation on where to go, everything kills you in one hit. Little bit or story I saw made no sense.
