This is an amazing game. Realistic writing, lovely artwork and music, outcomes of choices make sense.

And the trigger warning is needed. I almost lost a niece to suicide. The scene in the bathroom could be lifted out of what happened with her and her older sister. I'm an adult, but I'm sitting here in front of the computer in tears.

I got the missed ending. The replay was well done (it's not just a restart). I got hope the second time around, which seems appropriate. I don't think I'll play it again, but thank you devs for treating this subject so beautifully and with such compassion.

And for those of you contemplating self harm-- please know, more people love you than you think.

Good sequel to the beloved DOW2. And finally get to play something besides Speeeesh Marines in the campaign. Da Boyzz give dis two thumbs up, tho weez needed sumptin Red 'cause it goes faster.

A decade later, this game is still my favorite Warhammer 40k computer game. Really captures the feel for the lore. PvP RTS games are kinda hard to find for DOW2 (get Retribution), but the single player is still a kick.

Returned to Arkham Asylum and Arkham City after so many years. Combat was as fun as I remember, although the boss fights get tedious (particularly in AA, AC improved a bit). The open world of AC means more gameplay, but the storyline itself wanders a bit. Gliding over the city is a blast, at least for Batman. Catwoman is fun to fight with (if limited), but god, her movement mechanism is annoying.

Harley Quinn's DLC is fun, and Robin fights like the acrobat he is. Too bad he sees limited play even in his own DLC. And it's a crime that you can't use him in the open world like Catwoman.

That said-- my computer is better these days than when I played the original games. But I still get cutscene crashes and lock ups when there's too many particle effects: not a problem I remember having before. I CNTRL-ALT-DELETE and restart my way through because I love these games so much, but my performance issues with these rereleased games were enough to keep me from buying Arkham Knight (which reportedly is even worse in that regard).

Shaky thumbs up. If you've got a state of the art rig (mine really isn't these days, but like I said, better than my old), I doubt you'll have a problem. If you don't and you've got a console, I'd recommend playing on that instead of the PC port.

City of Heroes is dead (*sniff*). I like Champions Online, but it's a bit too cartoony (yes, I said that about a superhero game). So...DC Online. I bought it back when it first came out, and ran with a couple of villain and hero groups. Then put it away because, yeah, content is limited. And it still is. But for free, you can zip around Gotham and Metropolis for a month or so, level up a few chars, then quit when it gets grindy. A year and a half break and I'm back to enjoying it for its action combat and graphics. Dunno if I'm going to get serious about it again, but definitely worth taking a look.
