WWI was a battle between Austria and Serbia. This conflict escalated to the point of global warfare. Every major military nation had a role to play. At the end of it, Germany was blamed and scapegoated.

The economic crisis that followed was unbearable. The inflation was unheard of, and the hope of financial security was non-existent. It was shameful. Hitler had enough, he was fed up being a tool in the arsenal of Big Brother. It was time for him to climb the latter and have blood spilled in his name.

If you really think about it, Hitler is kinda like Guts from Berserk, and Kratos from God of War. Hitler was a man of pride and vengeance. He was also a victim, his innocence was stolen.
