The penny arcade game is alright. It's not as funny as I was hoping. It tries, but the humor just doesn't resonate with me.

I was just playing the demo and it is a solid game. It kind of looks like civ but it is all about war. There is some diplomacy but its pretty barebones. The AI seems pretty good at fighting too.
I would give the demo a shot. It gives a good idea of the gameplay. :)
